Jones needs to go back to the two’s, he’s been a liability this season and it doesn’t look like improving.

Too many times he runs off his man to try to affect a contest that is ineffective or leaves his man too much space when he overestimates his ability.

Having someone in defense who plays the Jones does, puts the rest of the team under added pressure and effectively costs us goals.

Same number of scoring shots. They kicked 16.4 and put the scoreboard pressure on to add to their on-field pressure. We turned it over, hacked it into F50 and let them spread away from stoppages. Hard to win a game of footy like that.

I don’t blame him - it’s Bolton’s fault that he keeps being selected week after week despite adding nothing.

This isn’t Hawthorn or Adelaide where we have the bigger bodied senior leaders who can afford to carry one or two players while they learn the ropes.

Completely agree. This was apparent last week and yet we continue to pick him.

I understand the ‘development’ argument, I just think he should be doing that in the VFL for now.

After that abysmal first half, all I wanted was for them to show something. They did.

One: last week wasn’t an aberration. It might be the new norm.

Two: Bolts don’t use synergy as an excuse. The novelty has worn off.

Three: Marchbank going down wasn’t great it doesn’t excuse a pitiful performance from our mids and defenders.

Four: If Jed Lamb gets a game next week then there’s something fundamentally rotten about this side.

Five: The Mullet experiment has also come to an end. Barley sighted. For a guy who was delisted by Norf you’d think he’d show more interest.

Six: He only had 15 or so possessions but Cunners was nearly our best on the ground. Is a jet.

Too many passengers.

SPS, Kennedy and Cuners can all play but they need to do more. Not doing anywhere near enough. They need to lift for the team to lift.

Lamb and Polson can hand the keys in. I'll even drive them to the station. Completely useless. Both physically weak.

Wright can't escape criticism. Has a good game every few weeks but outside of that does SFA. Not good enough.

Considering how bad we were we still had more shots. Its gonna be a long season for both teams but at least we showed a bit of fight, would love a game where we end with 22 fit players really disadvantaged us. Probably went into the game to tall in defence and to many young kids. Time to rest Lamb, weitering, polson and dow. Bring in Jsos kerridge macreadie and maybe lebois just to see if he has something
