It's a good that there's a lot of competition to get into the final team, but it also means some players might not be transparent about their niggles

Tabs has been kicking the odd goal or two to keep in him but I think he tries to play alpha male and messes with the continuity up forward. Darcy in and Johnson can roam the ground more.

Honestly that was the worst game I reckon I've ever seen sonny play. He actually should get a week off even if just to recharge. Manage him this year because surely it must be his last.

None of them adding much the next cab off the rank won't. JOM especially is just such a waste of a 22 spot. He's not playing in the first 4 mids he's not contributing and we have 4 who are better and another 2 who might be if we actually develop them properly.

that's not promising but shows you need to see these players in action instead of going by stats - you can't just throw them into an AFL side

If Simpson had played today at Peel I'd be all for him coming in. As it stands, probably unrealistic for him to come in. I want to see JL do a Hardwick and move on from the generation of players that aren't going to get it done and back in your youth (albeit Gold Coast has insane talent in the twos thanks to all the gifts from the AFL).

It’ll be one or two.
Chapman isn’t coming in.

Hughes won’t be going out. People have to understand he’s part of that defence that allows Ryan, Aish to get off the chain. Clearly he’s very valued defensively.

We are literally a bee’s away from being 5-0. Match committee have been doing a lot right.

I want to see us restrict WC to their lowest score ever and kick something obscene like 23.2 for the game.

A couple of weeks at home might help freshen up tired and older legs.

Chapman needs another week or two with Peel. Chapman looked gassed in the last quarter for Peel. Therefore Hughes stays (both of Worner, Wagner not ready yet).
Stanley also needs a couple of weeks with Peel but I was impressed with his game after a bit of early rust.
I’d rather they be conservative with Freddy
