Seems a bit of an overreaction to me. We could very easily be 5 - 0. Very surprised if there are wholesale changes. I thought last week would be Tabs out, Darcy in. Tipping the same this week. Would love to give Sonny a bit of a rest and make him sub though as he's really struggling. Can't see how he wouldn't have more impact than JOM or Ras though, coming on as sub.

Have you seen Johnson's kicks out from the defensive half. Not sure Ive seen johnson standing under a high ball or spoiling in a pack like Hughes, besides his flaws can't fault him on that
Couple of weeks away at least to build fitness/form. Would be a welcome addition up front

No doubting Hughes courage, but he cannot make the play.
I’d simplify Johnson’s role he is overthinking it.

Therein lies the problem..we need three talls.. think that's why they had send banners to third tall those times and that's probably his worst position..seems he gets fatigued more playing third tall than running up and down the wing..

Agreed. I can only assume they had NOD and Chapman ahead and felt three on managed mins was too much.
Based on what I saw with his power running and long kicking right off game 1 for 2024 he has moved ahead of NOD.
Based on limited pre-season and a bit of rustiness I’d give him another game at Peel. Beyond that I’d like us to use Stanley as second permanent winger and then MJohnson, Erasmus etc. to be played as part of the midfield rotation in their preferred roles.

O’Driscoll was either injured or taken off, I didn’t see him get a possession in the second half yesterday only had 9 for the match.
