Will Brodie needs to get Bailey to share some of his JL photos, seems like it's his only option now.

The Brodie talk made sense last year. With his role and our midfield performance this year + his WAFL performances he definitely hasn’t earnt a call up.

Apart from last week he’s been bog average for Peel. We don’t need him in the team to play extractor because that job is already getting done.

I’d expect Worner to be sub. Prefer Brodie as sub but whatever it makes little difference.

As poor and non-existent that Sharp was on the weekend, he has had a good season. He isn’t going to dropped for one bad game. Dish that up again and he might find himself under pressure.

The whole midfield group (bar Serong really) were rubbish. One of Brayshaw’s worst games and Fyfe / JOM struggled. Even Hayden Young was below par. They will be challenged to step up but no I wouldn’t be dropping any of them.

Aish definitely been off the boil last few games. I agree that moved to bench and very close being moved out to sub would make him aware that he is on close watch.

The team really carries Fyfe and JOM

Draper out for Davies is very strange IMO. Draper has gone OK at Afl LEVEL and now has about a dozen games under his belt while Davies WAFL form hasn't demanded selection. We should be fine this week but Amarty/McDonald will be licking their lips if they get Davies next week.

I would have persevered with Draper until Coxy is back.

I don't understand these calls on Davies. He's been so good this year, the whole defence has been playing around him as the key stone. Should have come in for Draper a while ago IMO and I'm convinced the result at Peel today was proof of that.

We were getting smashed in the midfield until Fyfe came on and stabilsed things. He can't carry them for the whole game though. Kinda why i wanted Brodie in the side as well.
I don't think it was entirely to do with Fyfe as when he came on Richards and Bont went off.

People don't watch peel

It's the same issues with Erasmus, people aren't watching peel (no not everyone but I'm talking the majority)

Davies is worth a shot for sure

Draper was terrible against the Dogs. Caught ball watching a number of times. Needed time in the WAFL.

Yes, I think the week-on-week intensity can catch up with many young players as they get mentally fatigued from the demands of the concentration required - the game is so much faster and demanding at peak level. When you do intense physical training you need a lrest or ighter period for the body to incorporate everything gained and I think the mind is the same.

One this day.

We beat them a few weeks ago
Very big swing. Anyway i will put it down to an aberration like the club seems to have done. There have been less aberrations so far this year so that is a positive. The historical hard part for this club is yet to come. It will tell us where we are really at, i guess. Might not be able to sweep it under the carpet quite so easily if we fade away again.

I think the fatigue kicked in a while back. Probably one of those play through adversity things.

I’d like to see Draper play as a forward in the 2’s for a few games. Did it in junior football to good effect I understand.

He’s probably got the potential to be a Michael Johnson type in the long run but would be interesting to see if he could work as a swing man.
