What about our 10th place finish last year suggested to you that we are an 8 and 1 team?
What does last year have to do with this year.

So you expected to be 8 and 1? If not I am not sure what point your comment serves.
You have much to learn about football
I'll never forget in the port game in 2011 they were talking about Heath Scotland and who won the trade.
He said something along the lines of "Well the blues got Heath Scotland and Collingwood eventually won a flag"
Such negativity after a win.
Of course last year's form is relevant in certain discussion, such as the one you weighed into when it appears you aren't even clear on the context.Where did I say I expected us to be 8 and 1.
No point in bringing up last year
There always is, it's really hard to read some of the comments. Obviously our set shot kicking was severely lacking, and we wasted a hell of a lot of opportunities, but there's no need for people to call our entire team pathetic and so on. They clearly don't appreciate Cachia, McLean, Lucas and Armfield!
I'd suggest our team has a lot to learn if a miss when you're 32 points up with momentum can be used as an excuse to concede 6 in a row...
Kevin Sheedy infamously blamed the Martians; on Saturday night, Mick Malthouse blamed the moon. “Is it a full moon?” he asked after his side's victory over the Brisbane Lions last night. (It was.) “I'm not superstitious, but I tell you, that full moon has drawn the ball away from those goalposts like you can't believe. I blame the moon.
“And why are the goalposts set off centre at the Gabba? See? There's a reason for everything, and I'll blame the moon on everything at the moment. It does strange things to strange people."
Jokes aside, Malthouse was serious about the potential consequences of his side's inaccuracy. “It'll bite us one day if we don't do something about it,” he said.
“We've missed too many over the last two or three weeks from positions where we should kick goals; it's as simple as that.
Geez Lachie must feel sorry for the Lions saved one of his worst for them.
Judd - champ.
Judd - turns it on when required.
Do not watch.
Great win tonight - Brisbane are not easy beats - ask Essendon. Carlton starting to develop some hardness through Cachia/Bell/Curnow supporting McLean and Robinson. Simpson and Robinson played their best game in a while. Lucas played a great first quarter along with Waite. Good to see the cool hand of Gibbs back on board.
I think if Kreuzer keeps marking he will kick five in a match soon - he is kicking the ball very straight - just missing by a tad each time - wont take much to see him kick a bag.
