I has been raining here on and off over the last few days and is stiill quite windy outside. Hopefully it dies down a little bit before tomorrow night. Will be difficult conditions if the wind stays up, i would assume that seating in the eastern stand will be best as you will be shielded from the wind.

Would someone up there going to match kindly like to give the rest of us a report after the match? Obviously most of us won't be able to go. Would be greatly appreciated, dunno if anyone from PRE is gonna be doing it either.

I will do a report when i get home.. To be honest i dont really rate bris list this year and i am expecting a big win by our guys. Will be interesting to see our skills in these conditions, should be quality outing with only a couple of weeks till the real season.

I am endeavouring to watch the match closely, however I have a few mates going as well (most not even Tiger fans) who are serial pests at the best of times, and may become a distraction. :p

I'll submit my take on the night though:thumbsu:

With the inclement weather conditions forecasted and our growing injury concerns, I really hope that we pull up unscathed after the solid hit-out against Brisbane!

It wont be raining tomorrow night. A little bit in the morning, but they are expecting the sun to shine tomorrow. And a humid night.

Richo, Lids, Foley and Cousins show tomorrow. I cant wait.....:thumbsu:

Does anyone know if Carrara ticketing is all just general admission?

Ticketmaster's $5.50 handling fee for an electronic ticket annoys me.
Prefer to just grab one at the gate.

Just a quick update on getting to the game for Tigers fans in Brisbane....

Spoke to G.C.C.C on 5581 1542 about getting to the game and they suggested public transport due to the following reasons.

Rain has reduced parking by a very large number. (for those who havent been to Carrara its just a grass carpark, they turns to mud very very quickly.

Road works are starting on Friday Night on the main road leading up to the Stadium. Expect delays.

There is a free shuttle bus from Nerang Station that take about 2 - 5 minutes as its only 2.2km away.

Hope this helps some people....

Just a quick update on getting to the game for Tigers fans in Brisbane....

Thanks for the post LVT. Luckily I live on the SE side of Brisbane so can avoid most of the traffic problems, but getting caught in roadworks would have ground my gears, you may have just saved me from some rage tomorrow night :D

it has helped me decide not to go. friend just rang & piked. not fancying a drive down after work over the gateway carpark.

It is still worth going. We dont get to see our boys to often.....

Ive got my two kids coming, so we have no option but to drive. Just letting people know whats happening.... Im leaving at 4 from work....orginised it as soon as i found out about the game. Should beat a bit of traffic.

Bring on the Lions.....

I'm with you lvt

Will definitely be pulling the shop shutters down early due to an "illness" and heading down.

Thanks for the tip about the parking :thumbsu:

Good question, if we could find out early who's broadcasting we can camp out on the server well before the game starts. Assuming they're streaming via the net...

The AFL has banned stations from broadcasting via the net the NAB Challenge games, that is why we couldn't hear last weeks game online. Same thing happened with many of the games last week. Port/Roos and Crows/Hawks were both broadcast in SA but not online.

If someone who is going wants to PM me their mobile I will send a text message when I get home from work with my return number and if they don't mind we could get scores, goal kickers and best player updates through the night via text. Would save people having to camp out at PRE waiting for updates.

Definately, I will drive too I think but leave a bit earlier.

Getting there a bit early doesn't matter, you can soak in the wonderful atmosphere that is the dump...i mean Carrara :D

Yeah. Nothing better then Carrara :(. But, there is nothing better then walking out with a win. They get so sad, its awesome.

Was going to leave at 4:30 from work, but getting out at 4 now. Plenty of time:thumbsu:
