Collingwood were very good today but their accurate kicking kept them right in the game. It isn't always repeatable to kick 11.1. Also our mids were thrashed and I wouldn't expect that to happen to that extent again. See you in the finals.

It isn’t always that Richmond play against 20 players for 3/4s. Only happened twice against Collingwood this year. Surely it can’t happen again.

The tigers are going to get mauled on Saturday. Pendle is career best form yet no one has noticed, Adams and SS firing the midfield will be to strong. Hardwick wont have the luxury of playing Martin forward when buckley starts DeGoey in the centre. Grundy and Cox will dominate their rucks and backs when they go forward. And that beutiful forward line will all share it around like a spit roast. Buckley will have the boys wound up for this one. This game will very much in the mould of Queens burthday. The pies are the best pressure side by far the comp, they hit hard. I think Hardwick knows whats coming, the greater public will know after Saturday aswell. Pies by 34.

Hahahaha, your funny.

Love the bravado of so many Tiger supporters here - multiple under pants changes during the entire game, but now saying game was “never in doubt”.
At least your thinking supporters see what the neutrals do, which is that near full strength Collingwood in final could be Richmond’s undoing.
I doubt Coll coaching panel fear playing Rich in finals (with the players returning), but suspect the converse is true of the Rich coaching box.
Eh. Join the queue of teams we’ve held at an arms length then obliterated in the last quarter. Carlton, Melbourne, St Kilda, Geelong, Sydney, Adelaide, Collingwood x 2

Great game. I was actually surprised at how well Collingwood played. Given they have so many injuries they performed really well.

Best of luck for the rest of the year.

Pies forwards way too strong. Rance will be a deer in the headlights.
this poster brings the laughter
I don't want to hear any bullsh*t from Richmond fans when they get done next week.

GWS - "oooooo pretty good, they legit"
Adelaide - "you can just tell they had something to prove"
West Coast - " WA crowd too much"

They have done nothing but tell the world how inferior the Pies are this year, everything from flooding our board when we loose to making fun of Treloars injury.

They will absolutley cop it if they loose this game, and rightly so.
this guy strangely quiet today

I imagine it will be closer, but no Dunn and potentially no Moore will probably be the difference. Tigers by 28.
credit where its due, this bloke, erudite and accurate

Its funny that Collingwood fans think they w they will step up if we meet again.
Do they not think we will step up as well?
We have another couple of gears to go into yet haha.
Atm we are crusing doing enough to get the wins while giving limited game time to Cotch, Prestia and Nank and even admitting we are giving Houli a mini preseason haha

They made the most of their chances. A quick kick forward and landed in team mates hands. Conca or Graham will make a difference to our midfield. A bit more grunt and tagging qualities will earn us more clearances

Have to say well done to the Tigs. Truth is that we had no right to be with them for as long as we were. Sorry to inform those suggesting otherwise but although it's probably true that our best side would likely pose a serious threat, that's not likely to happen this year so all the talk about beating Tigs in the finals is probably off the mark. The simple fact is that even if we could field our best side this year, (which we can't) there is no way they'd be match fit. We may as well just face it that once again our season has been destroyed by injuries and it will be next year at the earliest before we can put our best on the field.

I reckon we can only beat them once at best and i didn't want that to be yesterday.

Going to be an interesting finals series. Richmond secruing top 2 will need to win 3 in a row on the MCG to take home the cup. Looks very possible but teams aren't going to roll over. It might be simply a day where things go wrong for them. Pies can match it with them for a big period but not 4 quarters just yet

This.
If we emulate the level we got to in last years finals I think Collingwood will get a shock. We done it in fits and starts against them and still averaging 6 goal wins against them. Personnel will improve them no doubt but we can take it to a level they haven’t experienced in great quantities.
