OK...how do we come up with a 22 for this game?

After Sunday, Murphy unlikely to come up, White has a knee "history" and didn't look good, have loved the McLean story and his work ethic, this is gone, he has always been "speed challenged", but his motivation is down, I (reluctantly) agree he is done. Hendo, if he is fit enough send him back. Casboult was great "out of the square" V Hawks, then shifted to make room for Hendo, who MM has decided must be a forward.

NBlues: Cachia gone, Hard nut Graham injured and would be unfair to elevate half fit, young Byrne injured, Garlett and Lucas sub par by reports. In the mix Johnson, Watson ("bossed it" thanks Harks), maybe Wood, Holman and I am adding a smokey Ciaran Sheehan. (reports grown all season, was a dominant force in the "International Rules" and will not be over awed).

Structural: MM suggested Thomas was now fit enough, then why keep playing his pet as a forward, who struggles with set shots. He is getting the pay packet of a play maker, it is time to deliver. It is fair to say his molly coddling is standing in the way of Johnson getting a game. Similarly sick of Yarran who (overall) has been more solid this year playing bit parts forward or back. Put him on a wing and (hopefully) improve the delivery to our forwards. Casboult Full Forward, Hendo, if fit, back.

Outs: White, McLean (would not be against Warnock) (Doc if "cooked")
Ins: Johnson, Sheehan (would not be against Wood)(would love Watson in but would rather Hendo back) stay of proceedings for Brock if Doc is cooked

Tuohy Rowe Jamison
Simpson Henderson Walker
Thomas Curnow Yarran
Warnock Gibbs Judd
Everitt Waite Robinson
Johnson Casboult Menzel
Docherty Armfield Carrazzo Sheehan

This on assumption unavailable list:
Murphy, Buckley, Bell, Ellard, Cripps, Graham, Kreuzer, White, Cachia, Giles, Byrne, (Scotland, Duigan, Bootsma):(

In Watson Graham Lucas Holman

Well hopefully 'no ankles' Thomas will put in a much better effort against his old side than last time.
Also need the following to have an impact.

Cant run "Turtle" McLean
Keep your feet "Autumn Leaves" Robbo
"Hit a target" Carrazzo, Walker, Docherty, Simpson
Do something around the ground "Witches Hat" Robbie
APB or "Milk Carton" Tuohy
Take a mark Lachie
Brain fade Waite
Stop tanking and play some kids Malthouse

would like to see Johnson and Sheehan play this week

We'll try on Sunday because Collingwood aren't a bottom side. Sad but true.

Out: Mclean,Carrazzo,Touhy,Henderson(inj)White(inj?)Armfield
In's from:Murphy,Graham(if not injured),Johnson,Garlett,Holman,Watson,Lucas,Byrne

Let's play the kids see what they've got hopefully some fire in the belly.

Tactically I would like to see Henderson played in the forward line, long bombs to a big target that the opposition can easily beat such as Jarrad Waite. That will work, it hasn't worked all season, but let's hope it works this week.

Let's make sure the midfield is slow too. Hoping to get within 40 points of Collingwood. That we can categorise as a "win" for the heart shown against "superior opposition".

We'll come prepared that's for sure.
Our issue with bottom teams is that the players just think they need to show up and leave with the 4 points.
