Come on keep the faith. We are always a chance against Collingwood and they have lost their last two including being beaten by the Dogs.

Sure we need a few players to lift but Juddy and Curnow will be better for another week and Gibbs will be on a high after signing for 5 years.

Thank goodness I will driving back from my dad's which is a hour away. Unfortunately there is a radio in the car. I don't care about this game either. As it is going to be wet maybe the players can wear wet weather boots.

"We are always a chance against Collingwood" ??- not sure what football matches you have been watching but Carlton hasn't beaten Collingwood for at least 3 years. They have Pendlebury, Beams etc ...we have Waite and McLean....and people wonder why Carlton keeps losing to Collingwood.

I won't be attending and won't be watching it. More strength to the people that can sit through another "honourable" 30 point loss. Your strength is greater than mine.

Tactically I would like to see Henderson played in the forward line, long bombs to a big target that the opposition can easily beat such as Jarrad Waite. That will work, it hasn't worked all season, but let's hope it works this week.

Let's make sure the midfield is slow too. Hoping to get within 40 points of Collingwood. That we can categorise as a "win" for the heart shown against "superior opposition".

Beat them twice in 2012

I am sensing a distinct lack of enthusiasm for this game in here which is both disappointing & disturbing. I am expecting Carlton to lift as they tend to do against us.

When GWS beat the Blues I was both delighted and annoyed at the same time. The Dogs had their worst loss of the season right before we played them and all of a sudden they are attacking us like rabid...dogs. So that mixed with the traditional lift, the "we only play good against top sides", a little Mick Malthouse needle and some Dale Thomas "prove you wrong Buckley" type attitude and the cards are firmly stacked against us .Besides we are not playing that well, have a young list and injuries and we are just not that good - right? It should be on for young & old etc etc.

Yet somehow with all this it still feels a little bit dull, something not quite right. Then I realised what it was, its the time slot. Who the hell scheduled this game on a Sunday night! I had to re-read the fixture, I thought it was a typo. Surely they meant Saturday right. Its Carlton vs Collingwood!!!! Its like playing the grand final on a Monday moring. What were they thinking. How many people are excited about trudging out Sunday night in winter? It doesn't exactly get you jumping out of your skin with enthusiasm. The AFL is trying to sabotage what should be a bankable marquee game. Carlton vs Collingwood should always be a pemanent Saturday day or night game, there should be 80,000 there every time. They will be lucky to get 50-60,000 this week..

Anyway you need to keep the chin up, its not the same without Carlton supporters harping away arrogantly thats why we hate you so much and without hate what do we have?? Nothing thats what; the whole Carlton vs Collingwood thing has been a waste of our hate all these years, all that spewing of bile at each other, all that trolling of bigfooty, all for nothing. Goddamn it man up Carlton supporters, you are not Richmond.

You have to look at the silver lining.

I know the whole GWS beat us thing is embarressing and depressing, but in a few years everyone will be beaten by them - you are just ahead of your time. Yes I know you have a man nearing retirement home status coaching and is regarded as the future of the club, but he gives bloody entertaining press conferences. I know watching Josh Kennedy kicking 10 straight each week while Chris Judd limps past you burdened by the cash in his pockets is frustrating, but you got Dennis Armfield out of it, hes great, runs real quick. I know paying over 10% of your salary cap to Daisy & Gibbs is a little bit Labour Government financial management style, but they can do some great run with jobs and they have pretty hair cuts. Losing a number 1 draft pick Kreuzer hasn't turned out as you wished, but hey we did the same with Josh Fraser and we traded him to Gold Coast for a late draft pick......so Kreuzer still has value! I could go on & on but the bottom line is chin up you are still in the premiership window 11pm or something Mick reckons, although I am not sure he has got his glasses prescription checked since he left Collingwood.

Outs. Mclean, Army, 2e. White
Ins. graham, murph,Johnson McInees. If murph doesn't get up play Holman as sub.

Be interesting to see if Bell is fit. Hendo looks cooked also

Simmo jamo McInees
doc Rowe walks
Yarran carrots Curnow
Waite Hendo Everitt
Menzel cas Thomas
Warnock Gibbs judd
Graham Robbo murph(Holman) s jonno

Easy from here I know and I didn't see last weeks mess.......I mean game, so best guess:

Simpson Jamison McInnes
Docherty Rowe Walker
Thomas Mclean Gibbs
Menzel Henderson Yarran
Robinson Casboult Waite

Warnock Judd Murphy

Curnow Tuohy Everitt Carrazzo

If we put Henderson, Walker and Tuohy in for urgent repairs, I'd like to see.

Simpson Jamison McInnes
Docherty Rowe Holman
Thomas Graham Gibbs
Menzel Casboult Yarran
Robinson Waite Johnson

Warnock Judd Murphy

Curnow Everitt Watson Armfield.

We'd lose but so what?

You really think you can slip this shit in amongst some hollow platitudes and it will fly around here?

Disappear.
