Just watched the Hansen presser. Boy that filled me with confidence.

It seems like within the club, there is real belief. The way we gelled in the last quarter last week felt like a validation moment of their ability and play.

Just back in our system to simply defeat theirs.

Plus Hansen has so much info on how the Dogs play. The real strengths and weaknesses of their players. And so he is best equipped to take on the Dogs.

I think we're going to have a good plan against Naughton.

Cripps will have another killer game as he knows he's going to be forever compared to the Bont. He would want to beat him.

If only Smith was playing as Walsh would have felt same about it. Walsh will still kill it playing in a midfield with Kennedy2.0 and Hewett in it.

Really can't wait for this game.

Smith is a massive out for them. Cerra and Martin are big outs for us. Walsh is a massive in for us. We are slightly ahead re impact on team strength.

If our midfield can match theirs we are a good chance of jagging a win, as I feel our backs and forwards are currently more cohesive. But that’s a big if as they run so deep.

They are a seriously good footy team so hoping we bring our best effort.

Hansen’s inside knowledge will also be invaluable.

Go blues!!

Investing a lot of emotions into this team... if this is another false dawn, I will be proper Devo!
I hear ya.

This team has had more false dawns than a 1960s swimmer lookalike competition...

This will be a ripper game.
Can't wait to see Walsh tear it up, with our new game plan and much improved midfield.
OMG, the jubilation on this board if we win !!!!:D
Beating Richmond- Dream Part 1 :)
Beating Bulldogs - Dream part 2 :D
Then the Hawks - Rip them a new one :rainbow:

The old Carlton, an in like Jamarra Ugle-Hagan would result in him having 20+ touches and kicking 4 goals....hoping we dont let this happen,

Looking at last weeks game, we were outplayed in the 1st and 3rd qtr, quite convincingly really. Cant let this happen against the dogs, they will run right through us otherwise. Looking for a more consistent 4 qtr effort and should result in a win.

Hoping Harry can be better this week and Charlie shows some sign of life.

Im that used to going into games expecting a loss that i now find going in with confidence a weird feeling 🤣

Agreed. Our outs are more crucial than WBs, but I'm getting Walsh back, albeit slightly underdone, is still a big in.

Not too concerned if we lose by a kick or two; it means we're close to the mark with more upside than most teams in the comp.

Games into Curnow, Walsh, Cerra, Durdin, Gov are all crucial, not to mention the team chemistry and familiarity with the new plan.

It's all about how we play tonight and if we get the win, then you bloody beauty!

Really looking forward to this test against the Dogs

Weitering - Naughton while he is deep, hand off when he pushes up the ground
OMac - JUH, Newman - Hannan, Gov to take the resting mid.
Saad and Williams - Vandermeer and Weighthman

Happy to go head to head with their mids, with the proviso of paying close attention to Libba at stoppages. Hewett on Bont, Gov when he pushes forward. Main focus is to push them backward if they get first hands at the clearances

Harry, Charlie, Jack to spread their defenders, given they are undersized

Walsh a great inclusion, but Cerra is a big loss

Blues by 5 goals
