Give me a couple of minutes..................Yep. It's better.

Wasn't even the fact that we had plenty of posters conceding a loss before the game, but for them 'hoping' not to lose by not more than x amount of goals.
That's a terrible place to be and not the reason we go to the football for.

Dark days Harker - dark days - all in the past now unless the Club doesn't shoot itself in the foot!

Even if the CFC did shoot itself in the foot as you suggest, it still couldn't go back to the depths of past years.
That 4 wins in 40 games stuff is not any more. That's the past and we won't see that again.......not in my life time at least.

We did see the unity preached for a few years to not be quite so united and that's always a possibility for that same beast to rear its head.
Anything near unity from here on in should spell success of some sort for the CFC. (Can never announce Premierships though)

I think I'll always remember that story about the father and his daughter that went to the Brisbane game this year after Boltons sacking, and after seeing us six goals down, left their seats to go to the bar as they just couldn't watch the game any more............it was just much too painful for them.
Imagine how they felt by games end.

eagles have a very well balanced team with lots of stars over the ground....if it was over in the west i would say we have next to zero chance of winning but in melbourne i reckon we are 50/50 even with our outs.

Way out west where the rain don't fall
Got a job with the company, drilling for oil, Just to make some change, Living and a'working on the land...

The West hasn’t played too many difficulties for us previously, both Subi & Optus (MCG size), we’re usually competitive. They do play a pretty electrifying brand at Optus, amazing what hitting your targets can lead to.

Isn't it so much more enjoyable to actually believe that the side will be competitive and be a sneaky chance to win against anybody - instead of approaching the game with a sense of gloom and doom....? Thanks to Teague and the team for restoring some fun again into being a Carlton supporter.

great test for teague and the team..our midfield need be on top and we have to keep that pressure on in the front half...we dont want it rebounding quickly back into our defensive zone...their forwards would be unstoppable. too smart too strong and some of their are just too quick.

I am loving footy again and can't wait to get to Etihad tomorrow.

Sorry for Liam Jones' loss. Family always comes first.

If I were in such a position, I would be willing to allow him some extended time off for his health and well-being. Gives Hugh Goddard more of an opportunity as well.

What matters is that the purest of loved ones will forever love us, both in life and beyond.
I lost my dad last year and i think I had a couple of weeks off work. You're just in no frame of mind to really do anything

Condolences to the Jones family. Hope Hugh can come in and do a great job. Teaguey gets us over the line here and its gotta be his job to keep. Would be incredible that he's coached wins against 2 of the top 4 if it eventuates, with the other two sides in Rich and Geel coming up in the next 3 weeks after. He's been immense as have the 22 lads week in and out. Cmon Baggers
