Got to say that Jack Henry is putting in a good game.
This is 2021-esque Jack Henry form. He's showed glimpses of this the past 2 or 3 seasons, but then has confidence lulls where he's off his game as well.

Hopefully he runs more hot than cold for the rest of the year, as he is a big difference maker when he's playing like he has tonight.

As much as I will miss Hawkins, I love how Neale runs and leaps at everything and either clunks it or its been brought to ground. Hoping he really gets a look and kicks 4 or 5 tonight.
Bittersweet

Still, for years + years, we’ve seen the changes from champions to Kittens, to champions to Kittens + we honour former champions + are filled with hope for Kittens.

In all positions - obviously 🤦🏻‍♀️

They are hopeless as expected but Mutter mutter Ross with the filthiest temper and highest blood pressure in the game. There’s a few who wouldn’t want to play under that beetroot head.

Best game by Jack Henry this season

Was thinking the same.

It's as close to his peak form as I've seen in a long time.

The wheels on Mullin!
Once he learns to footy .. oh boy!!!

I'm becoming a fan. The last two weeks I've noticed a few times he's been kicking forward, seen nothing to go to, but has somehow found a way to turn a two-on-one into a 50/50, or a one-on-zero into half a contest.

Contrast this with Parfitt, who throughout his career has been faced with many of those, dancing around on the spot and baulking and waiting for the outnumber to sort itself out, and it never happens because people don't lead to him. Mullin makes things happen.

Get another 4-5 goals here, and it'll basically be all over. Saints have only kicked 80 points plus 8 times this year, and 5 of those have been against Richmond, North, West Coast (x2) and Essendon who are the 4 worst defensive teams in the comp.

Mullin's selection for tonight looks like it's come with a definitive plan:

- Mullin vs Hill

Watching the second half of that quarter, I was trying to work out why Mullin was playing forward for us, but in reality he's going where Hill is going

When the ball is in dispute or St Kilda has the ball, he is wearing Hill like a glove, giving him no time or space

Mullin is then working hard the other way when we get the ball

You can see that as soon as there's a stoppage, Mullin is straight to Hill and just giving him notthing

Thinking Mullin must be doing a decent job, cause when the halftime siren went, the two guys stopped and Hill gave him a tap on the butt to say "good job"

Be curious to see if we use Mullin in a similar role more often going forward - rather than necessarily a midfield tagger, playing him on the oppositions defensive speedster
