It was never going to be a great spectacle in those conditions, as I spoke about in the 'Gameday' thread. The night games up there are torrid viewing but we will need to get used to it. Hopefully tonight's game puts us in good stead for future games at the venue.

Someone mentioned the word 'mature' in an earlier post and that's exactly what it was. A mature performance that gives me a little more confidence for the future when playing against teams we should be beating. Nice to back up a great win last week against the Pies. The defence of Hurley, Hooker & Ridley will win us many games this year if their chemistry continues.

I love Zaka's words when interviewed after the game. Spoke glowingly of the club culture ("the best it's been since I've been at the club") and how close the playing group are. A good sign.

me! I still do to be honest. he was great tonight , but let’s not try to reinvent a 30 year old slow midfielder in the twilight of his career as a small forward when we have a glut of young small forwards we could be developing.
