Reading Hawkes post match thread and I can't be certain but possibly they need a external review of their whole operation

Their consolation is their vfl team beating a better essendon side....of which I think i can name 10 players.

only been a few games, but i'm seeing why Reid was considered the safe/sure pick of the 3.

Couple campaigner hawks fans would flick on their phone lights during our set shots. Didn’t stop hobbs from drilling it.

Had some completely obnoxious supporters around us. Drunk on mid-strength horse urine, spilling it over everyone and refusing to apologies or stop swearing with kids and elderly around. They carry on like they've never lost a game, so much arrogance for such a poor list

Marvel security and that SMS number did NOTHING in response, very disappointing!

Man, it was sweet to sing the song so loud and out of tune in their direction.

It is of course nice to beat the old enemy and any win is a good win, but need to back it up. Have 3 tough matches coming up, none of which we will be favourites for. Can't go back into our shell. Important to keep getting games into the kids but want to see us keep taking the game on, best exemplified by Hind and the tackling pressure. 1 win against average opposition doesnt mean much if we play crap the next week. I can handle losing, christ i am used to it, but want to see the same effort.
