Shocking selection of Young to begin with, woeful decision to leave him on Amiss after his 2nd goal, and another woeful decision to leave him in the ground until half way through the 4th qtr. I said in the preview that there was no match up for Young. Not sure what the * Mini was thinking.

Was just thinking miller needs to come in for young ,,,NOW , he’s actually showed a bit as a defender , youngy needs a long spell in the VFL , his confidence is shot

In addition to the obvious standouts I thought Broad was outstanding , especially in that last 20 minutes . His decision making was excellent and along with Vlas across that backline allowed us to hang on.

Broady would have to be one of the greatest pick 67s in draft history .

On the flip side the guy I worry about is Ross . He is a good player but his decision making under real heat is questionable. He’s been playing long enough now not to get a pass for poor decisions and not playing the percentages when it’s tight .

Mansell didn't jump into him... initially it didn't look high. I'm surprised Freo player was concussed and there was a free against.. unlucky for all.
The team is finally winning..

I really didn't like MRJ before his injury. I hope he isn't rushed in.

I’m not finding reasons to crucify him but stating that he had two shocking moments he would want to remove from his game where he totally backed out of going in to the contest. He squibbed the contest. It’s not on.

As I said, he did a lot good too, but those moments need to be removed from his game. Both cost us goals too.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on one. I think he didn’t want to infringe when the Fremantle player looked to be lower and in better position.

You know he's playing the george role right? its not about possessions and he kicked a great goal and nearly kicked another. A bit harsh on the kid

100% everyone we play down there struggles to get much of it. At some point fans will realise that it’s not a lack of talent but a hard team first role.

Mansell as much I thought he was a bush footballer has been our most effective so far.

How far off is Hopper?
I rate him but I have to say it, we’ve looked quicker and more dangerous without him.
Taranto has gone next level since he’s been out.

Prestia, Hopper and Taranto was a bad set up. No speed.

I’d like to see no more than two of the above in any center stoppage. One of Short, Baker and Bolton need to be in there to give us some speed on the loose ball.

What a game by Bolton, he absolutely killed them, even the umpires couldn't make us lose with him in our team. My wife is pretty subdued but even she yelled at the telly a few times, it was so obvious. The AFL will say it's all good and the four umpire system is working as intended, if the intention is to screw teams over then I guess it is doing that.
