Crazy that despite everything we have seen him do, outside of the PAFC supporter base, he’s probably somehow under rated.

One of the few players that the word superstar doesn’t do justice. Makes the impossible look easy in a way almost no player (I have personally ever watched) has been able to.

Despite the fact I been expecting this all year, it is no less devastating to see his career come to an end without a premiership.

Hopefully he has one more showdown medal in him.

Farewell beautiful man. You were the best thing about the team in some dark times, and you've been the best thing through an era of missed opportunity. Club won't be the same without you in the BiB.

There are certain players who transcend the game. Robbie is one of them. When Gray was on, you would just tell people to get out of the way and let him do his thing.

There are far less deserving players in history who have won a flag - his career is not diminished in the slightest because he didn't get the chance. A true PAFC legend.

One of my very early memories of Robbie was in about 2007. I watched him take, what was for him, a fairly straightforward mark. But I just watched in awe. He moved like a cat, quick, agile and just landed neatly on his feet, made it look so effortless. A sign of things to come. For such a brilliant and much loved player he was also one of the most humble. It was always about the game and his teammate, never about him.

Let's make Saturday night all about him.

Would love that the club could retain him off-field in some capacity - I've heard him mention that list management interests him.

Alas, I fear he will get poached by one of the Vic clubs.
