Well, they generally needed to be in the initial Squads that were named for the pre-season camps , pushing the proverbial up the hill if they're not...only very occasionally do players get a late call up.

I doubt mcasey will play a game this year. I don't think it's going to increase his value by playing him at Afl level and there are better options on our list as well. Play him in the SANFL and let him find some form in front of the Vic recruiters.

You are probably correct I did agonise over it. I had Kelly as a Int so would move him in and then add either Worrell or Borlase.
