I don't think so, but it wouldn't shock me given the coaching staffs comments post Sunday.
Selection philosophy last year is more of an insight. Coach's comments are just further proof.

I look at Mackay and see a big Break Glass In Case Of Emergency sign
and I think, they ******* will as soon as possible
It's disgusting by the afl to do that but an easier draw wouldn't have helped us that much anyway. At least they can't accuse us of tanking. It's shocking and unfair the worst team was given the hardest draw. I thank them for it as it will ensure an even better draft pick although we likely didn't need any help in what draft pick we will receive. The person most pissed off with receiving the hardest draw should be Nick's as it may be the final nail in his senior coaching position come year's end.
Other way around I think. Are we thinking Butts gets Cameron and Murray gets Hawkins? Or the other way around?
Earning more points for a win makes it more exciting... AFLX exciting.Next you'll be saying that 4 points for a win makes sense

Pyke and co were the fall guys for Roo's incompetence. I was never a Pyke fan and believed he needed to go but as usual our club didn't fix the real problem and therefore lengthened the pain the club will experience until they finally remove our list management maestro in Mark Riccuito that has orchestrated our likely back to back wooden spoons.Desperate for the 4 points we are. As always. Why would the people that employed Pyle employ someone with totally different philosophies? We'd still have Pyke et al if not for Roo's 'support another club' comment. And it's thise numpties that selected Nicks and Pyke would have gotten an extension as a show of strength if not for the review. The only difference between Nicks and Pyke is this personal relationship bullshit.
Go back to Fed Square, you Victorian heathen.Pfffft. I’m less concerned about Mackay being named Round 1 than I am with the fact that nearly 30% of you folks think that a team should be listed forward line first... what are we, heathens? No wonder the club is in the state it is.

Will it matter??Are we thinking Butts gets Cameron and Murray gets Hawkins? Or the other way around?
Will it matter??
Probably both. Will just depend on which one Geelong think they can exploit moreThat was kind of my point. Odds are at least one will be slaughtered.

Might be like shuffling deck chairs on the titanic. Hopefully Butts can limit the damage his opponent makes and that we could try 2 up to help Murray - what an initiation of fire if he starts!!!Are we thinking Butts gets Cameron and Murray gets Hawkins? Or the other way around?
Apart from an aversion to moving the ball quickly, Kelly is a half decent role player. I thought he showed a willingness to play on during the trial game that I hadn't seen before.Kelly reckons hes playing against the Cats in the presser he did.

If that carries through to real games, we are going to have a lot of players vying for the medium defender spots.
Surely we have to be looking at some mid/ fwd types at the mid season draft?
Got just the bloke...

Sure is but he's more the midfield bull with great burst speed rather than a mid/forward like Brodie Lake...I think in a normal non Covid environment both lads would have played Nationals and likely been drafted off the back of that. Was Zavier Maher also one of your favourites? We've got 2 list spots . . .
