It means exactly what it says. Given the majority here are expecting a loss there should be no reason for people to lose their minds when what they expect to happen happens. Unless of course they just want to bitch and moan for the sake of bitching and moaning.

As I just said, expecting to lose just means you're unhappy with the coaches/players etc and think we aren't as good as we should be. Anyone who thinks a flogging by the Eagles is where we should be at at this stage of our development is deluded. So if we do get belted I will have no problem with complaints by those who expected it.

How does the strength of your team tonight compare to the one that faced us? Off the top of my head Morris is in but Ellis is out.

Lonergan in, Helbig out too I think. Did we have Conca then? Can't remember sorry

Depends on the result, we put up a decent showing but get done by 5-6 goals that's an expected result IMO. On the other hand if we put in a Melbourne type effort and get beaten by ~100 then there is reason to throw a tantrum and carry on. That's my point, if the result is as you'd expect then why the need to carry on other than to bitch and moan for the sake of it.

when we lose its the end of the world and time to unleash, it's the tiger way

I just want to see us tackle, chase & harass the bloke with the ball and then move it quick into our fwd line. if we put in another dreamtime effort then.................. well lets just hope that doesn't happen

Well that depends if you think your expectations are where they should be considering the team's development, or if you're expecting a heavy loss because you think Hardwick is a shit coach, etc. If it's the latter you have every right to bitch and moan about us receiving an expected loss, if it's the former you're an idiot if you complain. But I'm pretty sure most of the people complaining think it's the latter, so considering their opinion it's fair enough.

Making Lonergan the sub isn't a bad idea. When he comes on he will help us around the stoppages and lay some tackles. White will get to play a full game. He needs to use his speed, and run and carry when he has the ball. That way we will got the most out of him.

Cheers, looks like your backline is a little stronger this time despite the loss of Grimes.
Yep. Though I would have preferred Morris in for the game against Freo. If we had him to play on Ballytine we would have won. West Coast we need big defenders more - Grimes is a miss. And also Ellis would have been great on a big ground against a slow midfield.

If Richmond win, I'll eat shit. Two of our losses against Carlton and Port Adelaide we could have easily won, except we missed plenty of shots on goals, and gave Port Adelaide a sniff and Carlton we just didn't score the goals required to win. The other two losses were to Freo and the Hawks, pretty much top 4 contenders for this year. I just don't see how Richmond are going to beat the Eagles.

Quoted for posterity.
