Pathetic excuses for pathetic football club.

If anyone thinks we were unlucky tonight you know nothing about football.

1.8 in the third quarter says it all.

How many games/grand finals does this playing group need to
Lose before they realise.

3 coaches in and it's the same story. We will win our fair share of the stats tonight but yet again because of inexpliable f*** ups from supposed professional footballers on 6 figured contracts. We loose another game.

That's tonight freo and power we have thrown away.

Nothing has changed!!!!!!

How many games/grand finals does this playing group need to Lose before they realise . Putting the ball thru the white sticks is the most valuable kick you will have.

If I was watters I would give them the biggest bake they have ever received .

Something has to change

Being very hard on ur team, we are flying at the moment
Was a great game.

Fantastic Game by both clubs tonight, a previous poster mentioned that the saints had their chances tonight & 1.8 isnt really what you want to see But without being Bias.

At the ground tonight it felt like the saints were playing catch up football & that they were just holding on to the game- Never did it feel like the saints would win.

But a great effort from the saints & Tigers to put a fantastic game on.

Good Luck Guys

I was there, about 3 aisles to the right of the away cheer squad, sandwiched between a horde of very boisterous but well-behaved and gracious Tigers supporters. :thumbsu:

You lot have come a long way as has your club.

Saints... don't know what to say. Lots of class and yet not enough. Our champions' stars are fading, and the young guns have arrived a couple of years too late.

I saw nothing last night to suggest that we'll be there at the pointy end of the season. A handful of blinding quarters in two and a half months.

Bring on 2017.

Yet we couldn't even get a free kick for the Milne one (which ended in a turnover and Richmond goal).

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/tiger-king-facing-fivematch-ban-20120603-1zq6f.html

Tigers forward (Jake) King, who is saddled with 71.85 carry-over points and 50 per cent loading on any charge due to his poor disciplinary record, is likely to be suspended for tripping St Kilda's Stephen Milne with an outstretched leg. In isolation that should result in only a one-match ban, yet a negative view on an off-the-ball clash with Sean Dempster could sideline him for between three and five matches in total.

Dempster began to pursue a long kick into Richmond's forward line when King blocked his path and crunched the unsuspecting Saint with a hefty bump.

Even though there was seemingly no high contact to Dempster - a key factor in inflating penalties - the 50 per cent loading for King could increase his base penalty for rough conduct from 225 points to 337.5.

Should King be charged twice, it is likely his points would tally 529.35, or 397.01 after the guilty plea discount.

Re: Round 10: St Kilda v Richmond Coaches' Votes

Just saw the vision on On The Couch of three Saints defenders being dragged towards the ball, inexplicably allowing three Tigers out the back, including Jack Riewoldt, who managed to score several times because of it.

Inexcusable. Need to have more awareness than to be dragged to the ball, leaving your man and allowing easy goals.
