i wouldnt trade muston in til next week, dont judge a rookie on 1 game lol.

still dont know my trades for the week, depends on the teams and who gets named. heres hoping broughton, gilbee and cheney get named. and heres hoping that t tuck doesnt get named!

and Petrenko or Suban....
and Walker or M. Brown.....

Tuck not playing would be really handy. Does anyone know how he went last week. I assumed he played for Box Hill but wasn't mentioned in the match report.

Backs: Goddard, Drummond, Fisher, Cornes, Gilbert, Grimes, Cheney (Rance, Broughton)
Mids: Ablett,Judd, Bartel, Gibbs, Rich, Coughlan (T. Tuck, Sidebottom)
Rucks: Cox, Kreuzer (Jacobs, Spencer)
F: Pavlich, Deledio, Franklin, O'Keefe, Higgins, Fevola, Ziebell (Walker, Warren)

I'm considering:
Tuck -> Muston
Higgins -> Riewoldt

Peoples thoughts? Any other suggestions. Only 14k in the kitty.
You don't need to trade at all this week.
I would save your trades & do them next week. Providing Tuck doesn't play which isn't likely.

This week just sub one of your bench players for Higgins & then next week go Tuck > Muston and Higgins > Riewoldt.

Riewoldt has a B/E this week of 166 so you should save money by doing those trades next week.;)

Current Ranking: 196th

Money in the bank: $580,000

Trades left: 12

What I'm thinking of doing this week is:

Nahas > O'Keefe and Rich > Sewell

then next week:

Beams > Muston and Otten > Ablett

Though this would only leave me with roughly $684,500 for ablett though so not quite enough! So if Higgins is out then I'll trade him instead of Nahas, and if he isn't I'll bring in Cyril instead of ROK!

This will leave me with 8 trades left and my team will look like this...

BACKS: Goddard, Drummond, Fisher, Cornes, Gilbee, Grimes, Cheney (Broughton, Petrenko)

MIDFIELD: Ablett, Sewell, Davis, Judd, Selwood, Gibbs (Muston, Anthony)

RUCKS: Cox, McIntosh (Spencer, Jacobs)

FORWARDS: Riewoldt, Pavlich, Deledio, Franklin, Sidebottom and either Higgins, Cyril or ROK, Nahas! (Brown, Walker)

Then team will be finished until Hodge comes back in and finds some form! Then Cheney will turn into Hodge hopefully and then right before finals i'll upgrade one more forward! Leaving me with 4 or 5 trades for injuries!

Just interested in peoples opinions on those trades and if you have any advice that could help me! Any feedback is good feedback, all helpful!

My advice would be to only do 1 of the trades this week just to make sure you have enough $ for Ablett. you cant rely on the fact muston is gonna perform/not get injured AND ablett is gonna come down that much in price. it may happen but you dont need to put urself in that spot.

Thanks for the tip! :thumbsu:

Higgins > ROK
Walker > Rookie

Leavs $170K for upgrade of Suban > Bowden in 3 weeks.

Will leave me with 8 trades though. Team after Round 10:

Backs: Goddard, Cornes, Drummond, Burgoyne, Fisher, Grimes, Suban (Broughton, Greenwood)

Centres: Judd, Dal Santo, Goodes, Selwood, Cornes, Cooney (De Boer, Anthony)

Rucks: Cox, Mcintosh (Spencer, Jacobs)

Forwards: Davis (C), Pavlich, Franklin, ROK, Goodwin, Krakouer, Brown (Cornelius/Wright, Ballantyne)

I'm definately getting rid of Higgins as my forward line is already weak (Deledio, Buddy, Fev, Krak, Higgins, Sidebottom, Walker EMG: Brown and Warren) and can't afford him to be hurting it further by missing games/dropping in value/scoring badly.

Question is, with only 10 trades left do I swap him to a Gian/Porps

Or do I double trade, dropping M.Brown to free up some cash and upgrade Higgins to Pav or Voldt?

I'm thinking I might have to do a double trade to strengthen my forward line, but the straight swap is tempting, especially seen as I can always double trade closer to the business end of the year if I want Voldt or Pav.

Happy with my backline and midfield so I think I'll be fairly aggressive on the forward line over the next few weeks. I'm thinking:

This week:

Dawson > Grima
Higgins > O'Keefe

Next Week:

Otten > Muston
M.Brown/Walker > Franklin

Week After

Nahas > J.Brown

Would leave me with a forward line of: Pavlich, Riewoldt, O'Keefe, J.Brown, Franklin, Roughead and Porplyzia.

Thoughts?

5 trades in 3 weeks is aggresive... how many will it leave you with for the remaining 10 rounds?

I'm thinking along the same lines as everyone else and want to jump off the Higgins train.
Even if he does play don't think he'll be much use to my team.

I'm thinking to swap him for either Gia or Porps.
Or I could make a bit of money and swap him for Kosi allowing me to upgrade Dangerfield to Bartel. hmmmm

What do people think of Kosi??

Great, as long as you have a bunch of trades up your sleeves for when he gets injured.

Any thoughts on KOSI, cheap at the moment and has been scoring well. Injury concern, just a walking cluster at times, but has the capability of scoring big. Any1 think he is a possibility of getting consitancy into his game with Gardiner and King both rucking leaving him FWD to contest behind ROO.

Cheap as ATM

got 90k in the bank considering to do

zeibell-->cheap forward
higgins-->rok/s.johnson

then want to bring in ablett next week

current mids are
judd selwood power ball cooney zaharakis (robinson, cockie)

could also bring in kerr for zaharakis in 2 weeks for a straight swap..out of those who should i trade for ablett

any thoughts will be appreciated

I waited for Kosi to bottom out at 349K a couple of weeks ago and traded meesen out for him in the rucks he has scored 110+ in both games and has been a great pick up and it is a good call bringing him in.His only two bad games so far this year is when he did his hammy he got 6 or 7 for that game and a 40 odd in his first game back.

If you subtract both those games he is ave is around 110 not bad at all.

Currently coming 738 overall, got 8 trades left with $201,100 left.

Out: Shaun Higgins $396,600
In: Daniel Giansiracusa $402,300

Out: Daniel Rich $334,100
In: Dane Swan $512,100

or Just do

Out: Shaun Higgins $396,600
In: Daniel Giansiracusa $402,300

Will have $195,400 in the bank

And wait next week and get Gary Ablett?
