Are the supporters that are writing Paddy off the same supporters calling Billings a draft bust 9 weeks ago?
The club and DMac like half back better so I suggest he stays there. Sav will give us drive from the wing.
With Dunstan out it opens up more inside mid time for Acres/Steele/Steven.
While I'm not a huge Minchington fan we desperately needed a small forward to come back into the side.

Our key talks haven't exactly kicked bags all year. More than enough spread of goal kickers.

Well Riewoldt has been our most reliable key forward goal kicker so we're going to miss his usual 2 or 3 goals, need some other guys like Paddy to step up.

I agree our forward pressure was really lacking last week I think we missed Minch and Mav was down and should improve for the run.

Makes sense, I like Dmac way better in the defensive 50. Keen to see how Sav responds after a short stint in the 2s.

Hopefully Sav can drift up for some sneaky hand offs and booming goals from ~55m out. Loved how he was doing that last year.

Not sure supporters are righting off paddy. Just questioning the wisdom of having him one out without anything big forward to take a defender away.

Just made the mistake of reading the Facebook comments on the clubs post about this weeks game & the team changes :drunk::drunk::drunk:

My poor eyes. My brain just had to apologise to them for making them read that tripe :(

Never, never, never do that again!

Yeah it would be good to see him used in a more offensive role as he can be a handy goalkicker from long range.

With no Riewoldt and Bruce it will be interesting to see how we set up going forward, being less predictable might work to our advantage.

Dunstan had it coming. Still angry that richo didn't drop him last week

Better balanced side for the opposition and the players available. Weller being named is interesting.
I would have given him a rest to get over the groin strain from JLT3, which still appears to niggle, and the bad ankle sprain he had on Saturday. If he lines up & looks proppy, I won't be happy
