Did what we had to do , Still a bit scratchy and a little easy to be scored against when we lose possession.
Not much to write home to mum about but sound performance.
Ratogalea was good , JHF , Boak , Mead , Wines , Marshall . Sweet was competitive enough .

Marshall kicking 5 against North isn't impressive by itself, but the fact that the other forwards were cutting and blocking so he could generate separation was promising. Looked vaguely like a real forward setup.

Seemed to lower the eyes a little. Marshall was kicking from 40 out across the arc, not 20 out in the pocket.

Thought it was close to a flawless game from Rat. Destroyed his opponent and had 6 intercept marks, 9 intercept possessions. Best game from a key back for a long time for us.

Larkey is no slouch as well. Hopefully he goes on with it against McKay next week.

Watching that game was like watching a pile of horse sh#t dry in the Mexican sun.
The sooner we find some tall athletic strong forwards who can kick goals the better of we will be we certainly don't have them ATM.

A very unsatisfying game to watch. We almost played down to Norths' level that first half.


Surely there can't have been 5,000 there today and hearing a few hundred Norf supporters that were there booing Horney everytime he got the ball just made it even more pathetic. Parklands stuff. How about jeering the gutless performances of some of your senior players that second half.

No wonder Tasmanians are willing to mortgage their future children's livelihoods to get their own AFL team. Having Norf as the representation of the national game at their state capital must be soul destroying.

Looked every bit like an SANFL crowd. When Tasmania gets it's side up and running you wonder where to next for North. They cannot keep playing games in Tassie as no one will show up. Maybe Darwin or Canberra beckon?
