Week afterI've been out of touch for a while, but what about Switkowski? Isn't he due back next week?
I hope so!It’s fair to say the Logue move onto May, albeit short, was a very good move. In saying that, do you think Freo might do similar with Harris Andrews next week?
No, he was worse. Was Tucker really that bad?
No but he’s clearly bottom 10. The bottom 9 played well, so he’s the out.Was Tucker really that bad?
Interesting week. Brisbane have three talls. Ryan can’t cover McStay or Fort as Pearce will take HipwoodIt’s fair to say the Logue move onto May, albeit short, was a very good move. In saying that, do you think Freo might do similar with Harris Andrews next week?
I very much like that JL said in the presser he liked what he saw from Logue as a forward & thinks it’s worth persisting with.
When Walker plays back we’re just better. Every game this year backs that up.
We’re not moving any of the others & Logue is too good to leave out.
I thought he looked really strong on the lead & could easily have reeled in another half dozen marks from the contests he created. He’s a bull on the ground, piles the pressure on & creates opportunities for the smalls.
Feels like another piece of the puzzle solved to me.
No changes for mine. Let Fyfe get his touch with some limited minutes at Peel.

Not a bad idea, he'd run rings around Andrews when the ball hits the deck for sure. It’s fair to say the Logue move onto May, albeit short, was a very good move. In saying that, do you think Freo might do similar with Harris Andrews next week?
We were dominant in that first quarter while May and Petty were still okay. If not for wasteful goal kicking we could been four or five goals ahead by quarter time. Logue up front was working.
Why did he play if he was sick in this day and age? Watch half our team drop out with Tracc Flu this week.We won the game in the middle and the media says it's because Petracca was sick. Well I'm sorry if you put your hand up to play then that's on you. We beat who they put in front of us and that was Gawn, Petracca, Oliver and Viney.

May going down helps sure but we won that game where it counted, in the guts.
Well Brisbane play Fremantle (3rd) and then St Kilda (4th) before their bye so it's going to be a 12 point game this weekend.
If we win, the Lions HAVE to pump St Kilda to keep in touch with the top four.
This is the phase of the season where the 12 top five matchups start to bite.
We managed to win one of them so far, huge advantage but Melbourne were already out ahead, now that we have beaten them we need them to continue beating everyone else again to push the rest down.
Their midfield is still A grade. Gawn, Oliver, Viney, Brayshaw. They were dominating in the first half.We won the game in the middle and the media says it's because Petracca was sick. yeah, i reckon tabs would be fine, would suspect the soreness he had the day before with his hip would be relatedNah I actually believe him this time.
Tabs is always stretching his glutes behind the ball; which commonly can relieve back pain so I reckon it's an ongoing issue.
But you can see it happen, he reaches for the ball then falls over holding his back. No contact, looks exactly like how a back spasm starts.
He's gonna get basically 24/7 physio, massage and medicine between now and the next game. He should be right.
...
How good is it gonna be to put Fyfe back into this team?
In really looking forward to it.
