a better comparison is Charlie Dixon from Port, he played 2 weeks in the magoos

It wasn't a direct comparison, more about the type of player they both are and how you'd expect them to go; both top players of the comp.

Dixon's a great KFP but he's no 2 x Brownlow medalist.

Anyway, I'm okay with it, if they think it's the right way to approach it, then so be it

I genuinely believe it is a buy in statement and that no one is more important than the team.

I personally would have loved to see him play AFL but the message to the rest of the team is pretty compelling.

its a win/win lose/lose scenario, if we win then it looks genius, if we lose then it looks bad and same can be said of the opposite scenario of him playing

Hope this doesn't backfire. Leederville Oval surface can be a bit shitty at the best of times with it's sand and potholes. Lesser medicos, fitness staff etc if something did go wrong. Then some potential $ubi wannabe wanting a piece of Nat Fyfe. Introduces a few variables.
