Is Savage good enough to be a top 10 defender this year kents or does it make sense to sideways trade him to Hurley when he has his round 14 bye?

I am entertaining the Savage > Hurley trade to be honest as round 14 bye is the worst one for me...

I brought in Hurls but didn't think about Pornstash still being out, may affect his scores until he comes back in.

Crisp might be the better option there.

The other sideways trade that need to happen in nank out. Wanted Grundy but prob wont be able to find the cash so next week Nank to Nic Nat who has built into the season now.

I intend to go Spargo or Guelfi > Yeo via Sicily in round 13 so sideways trading Savage > McDonald makes alot of sense to me as the swing set will then be activated.

Yep, it's going to be hard to gun him down!

I'm 4th and 226 points behind him. Last week we fielded the exact same team on the field except for 4 players. Him vs me was:

Yeo vs Simpson
Parker vs Neale
Macrae vs Coniglio
McDonald vs Boak

He won these 4 matchups this week by about 150 points.

Looking forward, I would say it is currently a draw for Yeo vs Simpson and Parker vs Neale, but he has me covered for the other two matchups.

The big question for me is that the logical trade is to bring in Yeo after his bye, however I won't catch him if I bring in the players he already has. Do I instead take a risk and bring in a Hurn or Hurley to try to make up the gap somehow? Remembering that I still pick up $1k if I finish top 10, so its not necessarily a bad thing to play it safe and bring in the best players.

Hmmmmm...

226 points is not a lot at all. One injury or two and you are looking good. Just keep playing your own game and pick the players you think will score the most points for the rest of the season.

If his not a top 10 defender he is close to it I would not burn a trade on him unless you have sure thing and Hurley is not that. Only in 12% of teams I think unless you are rolling in trades (which you are not lol) you just have to back him in.
