2/195 for me, Dahl and Bont... meh.

Having expended my VC loop on Bont, I think I'll go with Doc C. He's due. I don't think Kelly can pump out another big one this week, and Pendles is just a good, honest tryer who'll be shown up by Viney, Tyson and Oliver as past his used-by date... Adams is a possibility...

Without having done any in depth analysis, I reckon Adams would be the leading SC scorer in the comp if the games only went for the first two quarters. His DE is an issue and seems to fade out at the back end of games. Would love to see some stats on his first halves versus second halves.

4 weeks now that I've had Bont, and 4 straight scores below 100.
Now that boys, is how you curse a player.

And he should've got 40 last night with the way he played.

You're not alone....shelled out 600k & he's played like a 300k peasant since. Will take the inflated 92 last night tho :D

There are only 3300 points to go around every bs point bont gets affects another player

What about the bs points jpk or any other player may get equally affecting bonts score?

Lots of confirmation bias going on around all this 'CD have favourites' groupthink.

It's been decided CD DO play favourites, and bont is one of them.

Now everything you see confirms it, you've stopped looking abjectivly.

I dont have bont, but there was nothing special about the way he was scored last night.

It was a 90odd score performance.

Didn't get much of it and butchered it- but everyone butchered it last night, so instead of guys like jpk, hanners, parker hitting 150s... those points were still available.

He had a tonne of tackles, probably a couple of contested marks, probably a few score assists.
All SC gold.

You are right to a point, but early in the game all he's had is 2 tackles and 2 FA's, which count as clangers, and he was on 10 points. Should have barely been on zero.

He went on tv and destroyed his hometown to make his superfriends team in Miami, then when the spurs destroyed them in his final season there instead of challenging them again to win not one, not two, not three, not four etc etc, he crawled back to cleveland who had leverage with a stack of number one picks so he could make superfriends team v2, then this season he bitches endlessly about "needing help" (because two all-star teammates isn't enough) so they pilfer a whole heap of other former top 5 picks, have by far the highest payroll in the league, are smashing the luxury tax but apparently the Warriors who built the core of their team via the draft and who managed to court the biggest free agent in the off-season are the villains, not cleveland and their king bitch who once again choked in the clutch.
Another LBJ hater. No one can say that he handled that situation well, I know that. But rather than stay in Cleveland with a roster even Chris Fagan would laugh at, he went to Miami who missed the playoffs the previous season. Thats no precedent to what KD did. Just because its LeBron (who turns any team into a contender) and he "started it" - there were superteams before Miami, which mind you, after LBJ and Dwade, not a massive superteam, Bosh mediocre at best - is not even in the same realm as choosing a 73-9 team you blew a 3-1 lead to in free agency. Imagine KD on the Wiz or C's! He was just scared of Bron.

As a general fan, (dont follow a specific team) how fun would the finals have been to watch this year with similar rosters again? GSW already played amazing basketball which is fun to watch, without KD.

The worst part is, watch Cleveland now go and trade KLove for PG or something. The NBA about to become boring for a few years if the Dubs just keep sweeping the playoffs

That kind of stuff happens every week with loads of players that aren't bont or supposed CD favs.
You're only looking for the examples that support you pre existing idea and are ignoring all the other examples

For sure it was a bitch move going from his hometown team to Miami, but he realised after seeing Boston bounce him that he needed to form a "super team" whereas KD is a cupcake. They go 3-1 up on GSW and lose then he joins them in the offseason? Kudos for GSW management for constructing their roster and being able to financially get KD (wait until his and Stephs extension though) but I hate the arrogance of Joe Lacob saying they are light years ahead of any other team, and how can anyone like Draymond?
The guy kicks people in the nads all the time and acts as though it's a natural thing to do, complains and yells at refs CONSTANTLY (How does he not have more techs than Cousins?)
Everyone hates the team that is at the top... but they have 3 key unlikable pieces on that team and no one is going to challenge them for the next few years barring injuries.

For the most part I just look at comparisons with other players within the same game, but that was obvious. I've seen other players on negative scores with similar stats.

That aside, there is simply no justification for the fact that Bont only scored 9 points less than JPK. No bigger glaring example of a flawed scoring system than that.

All this debating and bickering about how Bont got his score, I saw him tap the ball over the top of someone to his player instead of taking possession, that's not an official stat but I saw he went up 4 points for it, 10 of those and bingo there's the 40 magic extra points he got. :):p

I'm pretty sure CD all but confirmed via some tweet responses earlier this year that a 'contested possession' isnt necessarily just a handball or a kick.
Ie taking possession of the ball in a contest is a 'contested possession'... even if it gets knocked out of your hands or you tap it to someone etc.

"Everyone has confirmation bias, but I don't" - that's a form of confirmation bias.

Yes I am an unapologetic Lebron hater and the arguments I made against him still stand (and have not been refuted). I'm not a Warriors fan, I didn't blow any 3-1 lead and this finals has been great to watch imo, we're seeing a basketball juggernaut playing some of the best team ball in the history of the sport, the fact that they're beating lechoke, the original "decision" maker makes it even better. Lebron is no less of a bitch than KD, except for actually being an actual bitch in the clutch, yeh, the "GOAT", this bitch still has the taste of Dirk's dick on his face.
