Yeah a trade like DBJ to Rance after Rances bye but on DBJ's bye works a treat.
I'm holding trades next week I'll only downgrade for Jansen to cash in if needed.

Do any upgrades during the bye rounds. Probally DBJ out, Yeo back, Kerridge to Mids and then McGovern Jnr for Dollhouse/Lids as Zorko has the last bye. Get Zorko when he drops a tad at the end of his 3 week cycle. (looks to be playing forward more with Rocky back)

Yeah want to get Zorko in mate but he is too expensive for me ATM.

Will wait till he drops in price like you said. :thumbsu:

Unless BenKen gets named I think I'm just doing the one trade.
Hartley > Collins
As I was going to upgrade BenKen to Zorko/Dahl but I think I can wait atleast a week on both of them.

Don't do it dude, then you can laugh at everyone including myself when we rage trade his ass again in 3 weeks:drunk:
The problem with Rocky is that it's a no win situation. If you don't bring him in he'll return to the fantastic scoring of the second half of last year and you'll be left way behind the field. If you do bring him in he'll go down with an LTI and kill off your season.

It's only Wednesday so anything could end up happening, but right now I'm considering ...
Hewett>Cole
BenKen>Rockliff

Leaves me 3 players away from a full premo team .... Pendles and Lids definitely and perhaps Ablett if he maintains his recent form.
Cole is a good choice as an M11 because I don't really need another cash cow and he gives a valuable Back/Mid DPP link.
Obviously Rocky's durability is the concern.

I have 11 left ATM after this weeks 2 trades. LOL!

Going to try and use as little as possible during the byes.

Only definite trade I have locked in is the DBJ > Rance trade in round 14.

Might do a Davis or Keays > Jansen trade to grab some more cash though next week.
Mate, I can see you burning 8-9 trades through the byes and coming out with bugger all for the run home. I'll pray for you lol ;)

Hi all,

I would like a bit of advice this week on my trades. 16 trades left 218k in the bank.
Was look at trading Dea or Brown but not sure who to bring in. Maybe Boyd or Rance
Or should i work on my midfield?? any ideas??

I would up the mids...trade out BenKen and swing dahlhouse fwd with petrecca taking the bench(E) and drop Brown to Lee and bring in a super premo mid.
still would have some bank left for when you chop Davis/Smith and the likes...
I know you lose you DPP this week but can get it back next week.
next week upgrade your def to Boyd/Gibbo/Rance with Smith out,Petrecca to Mid,Adams to Fwd and your link is back.
rnd 13 is tough for defenders...Lee wont help that but is due to string 3 or 4 games in a row.

Hah! Hope not. :straining:

Like I said earlier I will most likely go Davis > Jensen, Keays > Trengrove and DBJ > Rance.

Really want to hold off after that. till after the byes.

Well that's the plan anyways. LOL! ;)

I'd get Davis off the field pronto so...

Go BenKen to Lee Via DPP using Brown, that opens up that handy Def/Fwd link again;):thumbsu:

Then Smith to Danger for a uber premo and a extra Captain choice.

I cant decide who to trade out for Collins, either K.K or DBJ??

KK is suffering from health issues (abdominal apparently) which probably explains his poor year. Was browsing the GC board and someone said he had lost 6kg's this year as a result of it. For that reason alone I would lean towards trading out KK. DBJ has had one bad game but apart from that has been pretty solid.

Bowel issue of some sort according to one report, had to be hospitalized twice, they hope to address / resolve at the end of the season:

I remember being a bit frustrated with Nathan Jones and Tom Bellchambers last year, but it emerged that Jones needed off-season neck surgery and Bellchambers had had foot (and Achilles?) issues etc.. Kolodjashnij's drop-off seems understandable, too, probably done well under the circumstances.

My team if I get Collins and Rocky this week. Collins is a definite. Rocky has pros and cons. His score ceiling is incredible for his price but the only way I can get him is by trading out Hall which means I lose my DPP link for the time being. There is also the chance of him breaking down again, but his scoring in the second half of last season when fit is too much to ignore at $500k. Even though I'm in the top 200 I've gotta take risks if I'm going to put myself in contention. Would love to see how many of the top 10 get him this week.

Ah, the Reverse Newnes.

I think you'd have to look at trading him if that's the case.

I'm going:
Dea to Collins
C Ellis to suckling

Gives me 220K in the bank and an all important forward defence link for the byes. At present I have hall dusty Montagna kerridge and cox up forward, which means my forward line is basically non existent for week 1 of byes..

If rocky goes large I will chase points with smith > rocky next week..

I'm not going to tip into the 'will he play this week or not?' discussion because I have no idea, but I can tell you with confidence that his issue is more than just a knock to the knee. One of those 'ruckman's knee' issues that if they are well managed and have a little luck they can play through, but will likely require surgical repair at some point.
We're all smart enough to read between the lines, right?;):thumbsu:

Its funny how such a rock solid ruck combo can become a potential disaster in such a short period, i just hope to god if one or both of nicnat and goldy are out, theyre not named tonight, f***cthat late out shit
