I'm pretty upbeat about Friday night and feel we still have a good chance.
Players to worry about

Bont. Pendles will put him to sleep again

Bailey Dale - Jordan Clark bog last week. Someone needs to put clamps on Dale

Jamara - out of form but dangerous on day

Sam Darcy. Just so big and talented

Much else ?

Think we should be favs still

He’s been great in the middle since the shift but there’s no way you’d class him as an A grader yet.
What more could Richards have done since his debut? - leaving aside any ranking for the moment

Ads is still one to worry about too. IMO he's been the Dogs best mid this season, his lowest possession count so far this season has been 27

As a dogs supporter (I come in peace), while pies have way more injuries, dogs have their best players injured.

Richards has been our best player the past month, Naughton, Libba and Weightman too.

It’d be like if pies had Daicos, Moore, Pendlebury etc out. Degoey is probably the only one of your outs that you could say is in the top 5 on your list, whereas dogs have 4/5.

In saying that, Pies number of injuries probably evens it out and it’s going to be a battle of the wounded. I hope it’s a good game regardless of both team’s outs.

Mihocek and De Goey are every bit as important to us as Naughton and Libba are to you.

We also have no McStay so our best 2 tall forwards options are out. You have 1 missing.

You say Weightman, Elliott says hello.

Smith is out for the year. Murphy is gone for good.

Richards has been good for a while off half back and real good since his switch to the midfield.

He might be more effective as a player than Mitchell now but Mitchell was still part of our 2023 Premiership midfield and his career accolades are yet to be matched by Richards. He deserves respect.

Howe, Hoskin-Elliott and Cox have been senior regulars. Johannisen and Gardner are a couple of the more prominent role players you're missing.

The top end quality missing through your injuries is certainly comparable to ours and why both sides remain a chance but in no way are you worse off.

I’m not sure what that had to do with what I said?

Anyway, he was in and out of the side until the last couple of years so probably could have done a lot more if he was an A grader.

I’m not saying he didn’t go very well in the middle lately and that he may become an A grader.

My refreshed eyes are telling me he’s talking about Joe and you’re talking about Ed.

A nasty case of Richards failure if ever I’ve seen one.

Treloar will get a sneaky 35 touches and 3 goals

Oops - might have got the Richards mixed up - premature postation 🙁
