The best thing to come out of what has been a pretty average last 4 weeks has been Cam’s form. Seriously impressive when he gets the ball in his hands now. As others have mentioned previously, in the second half of the year we have to max out his minutes that he can physically spend in the guts.

1st off congrats on the win.

I love it when the saints lose.

Brisbane scored 10.18.78 to saints 8.9.57.

Brisbane could of easily scored 15.13.103 or 18.10.118 or 20.8.128 tonight and the umpires would of had little outcome.

Your team has the bye

If Freo don't win a flag in 2022, I want a non Vic side to win it. So I hope either Brisbane or swans make it and win it if Freo don't.

iBeng and scoman sit back and relax next week with that bye.

Can't help but feel McStay down back, Fort up forward made a HEAP of difference. McStay can take the defensive mark, he can set up attacking chains, and he's not a liability defensively either whereas Gardiner only gives us one of those.
McStay was a way better match up to Membrey than Gardiner.

It's amazing how our main 3 small defenders in Rich, Starce, Coleman are all playing so well; whereas our main 3 keys in Harris, Adams, Gardiner are all playing garbage/injured.

A bit flabbergasted as to how so many of our teams field passes fell well short, at home, on a perfect pitch???

Oh and what's with the Ruck as a medical sub? Very Malcom Blight to me.
I reckon the travel we have done lately, especially coming off of a 6 day break from the longest trip in footy would have something to do with it!

Well played Andrews - played noticeably tighter on King and the tactic of Coleman/ Starcevich doing the brave thing and getting in front of the pack to intercept worked well. Both played really solid games. Well thought through. Rich was his usual high quality self. Adams kicking is still a disaster. Come finals I am really worried he is going to hurt us. Ball in hand he is just terrible. I did like his spoiling though. Showed how to do it. We really need an additional skilled ball user with some football smarts in defence. I would be playing Lester ASAP. Midfield were back - Neale, McCluggage and Lyons got lots of the ball. Berry was great again. Answerth was serviceable. Just one of those nights for our forwards. Charlie’s pressure was really amazing tonight. McCarthy was dangerous. Rayner was big tonight. I don’t think McStay’s price went up tonight, but he did the brave work in the ruck, which was a big ask. Nice to beat a Top 8 team. Oscar McInerney was fabulous tonight.

Andrew’s was great tonight. Played King really well.

3 of my best were in defence. nice to see the backs looking a lot more stable. king pretty much a non factor without free kicks is a big tick from me. kiddy and rich outstanding at moving the ball out of back half tonight as well

brutal last two weeks though. we definitely need the bye.

thats probably robbos last game for a while. potentially forever.

Poor kicking at goal reared it's head tonight, like we did constantly a couple seasons back, nearly forgotten how frustrating/stressful it is to watch.
10 wins at the bye I'll take it in heartbeat.
Go the mighty LIONS.

Can’t bury our heads in the sand and ignore the last month and we definitely benefited from the saints injuries, but huge positive that the midfield dominated and the defence was really solid with good tackling pressure.

Biggest problem tonight were dumb turnovers, forward connection and conversion - if our problem is in the forward half, I have confidence it is fixable.

Berry Coleman and Rayner my main positives of the season so far. All having career years.
