Jai Culley plays his 10th game today

His first since doing his ACL in R8 last year and a little over 2 years since he was drafted to the club

And 758 days since this post

It’ll also be Jai’s first win at the club
Still eligible for the rising star surprisingly.

The cynic in me expects North to get more than their fair share of questionable calls in their favour today as well - a good start will do well to prevent them from gaining momentum as a result.

Shutting down the output of LDU will determine the result - it will be interesting to see how holding gets interpreted. After seeing Reid get clotheslined multiple times without any call last week, I suspect just looking at LDU this week will amount to a free kick, which will enrage us all.
This is exactly what I'm expecting today, full AFL involvement.

North finishing the year with zero wins would be an enormous black eye.

Houghy goes to Sheez?
Should be a good match up if it happens.
Depends if they play him in the middle or on the HBF

Is there a pool for which North spud looks like an A.A shoe in today?
Darcy Tucker?
Taylor, Archer, Curtis,
Lazzaro for complete LOLs

Big test for Flynn up against Xerri/Cherry/Xerri

I hope Spud Larkey doesn't pip up again.

I'd expect our backs and forwards to be too good for North and would be pretty disappointed to not get the win. And I'd love to see Jake kick a bag and be right in Coleman contention. But, anything could happen. North will be fired up.

Was watching the Culley video that the club put out and my wife asked me what I was watching. Explained he was coming back from ACL, and the new kid we took last week was also playing so we had three MSD picks all in the team, which I described as “kind of cool”.

“Isn’t that a really bad sign?” was the response.

Fair point, well made. I still think it’s kind of cool…
Yeah it's cool but also very worrying

Yeo leading the league in hard ball gets

Ascendency at either end of the ground to be offset by an expected bath in the middle. Big game from Yeo needed.

Did they just forget to post the eagles team stats.

Edit. Found them. Numbers probably as expected.

Ginbeys wrist is fine, just punched a long bomb for goal away on the goal line during the warm up. If it is sore, he gave nothing away & has an amazing poker face…
