Trades Round 13 trades....

What are peoples thoughts on using one of the extra trades on what is essentially a 'rookie correction trade'?

I don't need the money for my planned trades. It's as simple as fixing up a rookie.

One benefit is that Jordon stays for 1 extra week, I get his score this week, and hopefully a $10k to $20k price rise.

Could trade Brockman instead, to make a little bit of money, but Brockman is probably closer to getting games than FinMac.

How many injury trades is everyone keeping after their team is finished? Thinking ill either have 4 or 5 depending if i want to sideways Brayshaw next week..

The extra trades are canceled out by the need to use them on sideways moves to avoid donuts. It will have the same impact as no extra trades and counting 16 in round 14.

So your advantage is still there.

Yeah, when playing for overall maybe, but my team is meh, so playing for cash league and extra trades will help those in my league that had to burn trades early with injuries, which I avoided, or held when they were short time injuries, etc.

I think its a perfectly fine thing to do. Youd may need those rookies later on.

Fair enough. In that case the two trades will reduce your advantage, but it will still be there. You can luxury trade yourself to a SC premiership

I’ve looked at Merrett from Essendon for years and wondered why kelly wasn’t used the same at the giants and finally the last month he is getting the chance to show why he is an elite mid again. Sat on a wing for too long and stuck forward early in the year he’s finally getting proper inside time again and scores the last 5 games reflect that

I couldn't forgive myself if I went there again and he got injured, so I'm not going there. He's almost guaranteed to knock out 120-130 for the next 4 weeks, drop a 190 and then pull a season ending hammy or a one week general soreness that sees him miss the last 5 games of SC

You realise that history isn't the be all and end all? What's to say he doesn't finally play every game this year. He's still only 26 years old

I don't have him, nor am I getting him, but I wish I could, great pick. Will end the year averaging 110+ easily, so that means 115+ from here on

I added Miller last week, just realised that little turd Serong will probably sit on him this week.

Hadn't thought of that, but Miller seems to like close attention. Gives a fair bit back. Tough unit.

I might be paraphrasing here, but

Fail me once, sad for him. Fail me three times sad for me. Select him a fourth time you need to find a different game to play. There are others around.

Just like Hall I wish him and his owners well and I hope he plays the remainder of 2021.

TO be honest I have NFI what to do this week untill the teams are named.

Trying to also salvage my Round 14 (Currently only 12 I can rely on to be playing.. thanks to Zorko!)

If I sacrifice Zorko, I would be able to play 21 this week and 18 in the dreaded Round 14.

To get the 18 playing I would have to use all 8 trades! (17 left)

This is the best I can come up with so far:

I was looking so gucci for Round 15, had 15 playing with Dusty CCJ and Zorko and was gonna use 3 easy trades to get to 18 and then BANG … now down to 12. Have 22 this week lol

I'd lean to option #1. Short term missing "premo" is usually a hold situation

Mine does that on my mobile. It's when you leave the writing too long and it saves it as a draft. Very annoying.
