What about the months before the Richmond Carlton round 1 game. It was all about how much carlton would win by and how much Carlton fans play with themselves while thinking of Judd. It was A carlton win all the way. Even there fans were talking then about how much they will smash Richmond by. Nothing has changed you are like the rest of them Arrogant cocky little bastards. Now thats what i call pathetic. Also add in many Carlton fans on here before your game last sunday saying how they think they will smash us thinking beating Essendon was a sure thing. Glad to see Carlton won last week i might add losers.

I believe we have more options up forward and touch more experience in defence. Our midfield is probably more dangerous than Carltons because Stevens and Gibbs are outsiders and Murphy and Carazzo are struggling with their skills. Judd is not quite at his form of 2005 and 2006. I'm more than confident with Foley, Deledio(career best form), Cotchin, Newman, Polo(underrated) and Tuck in the middle. As long as we are determined to win this game, then I think we will win it fairly well. Thursty should do a good job on Fev 
Unfortunately for you I told my essendon mate last week I thought the blues were getting to far ahead of themselves and would lose to the bombers. As for the Richmond game I expected to beat you round 1 but I wasn't shocked to lose to you since I didn't expect us to get good overnight just because of Judd our backline was still terrible and we still need a key CHF.
Unlike some carlton supporters I don't kid myself and I don't see carlton winning more then 10 games this years and we wont be playing finals and neither will you.
You are arrogant to think we are easy beats after beating melbourne and port who in case you hadn't noticed we also beat, the sooner you get off your high horse and come back to earth the better.

I have not said we will play finals although were a chance cause i agree we might not. But if either side does we wont have an input anyhow. I dont think your easy beats trust me on that however bar the 4pts i do feel we have more to play for then what you do.

A little worried about the Richmond forward setup. Brown is a real threat to us, luckily I think we will smash their midfield and get much more ball in our half. Carlton to win by 24 points with Fev kicking another bag.
Should be a great game though with hopefully 80,000 plus.

how can your midfield smash ours when 2 of your best 6 midfielders are recievers(Stevens, Gibbs), while your best mid(Judd) isn't 100% and 2 of your other so called quality mids(Murphy and Carazza) have been pretty disappointing with their skills this year. Your midfield would be lucky to rank in the top 8 midfields. Overrated

Blues need to really stand up down back, and find more options up forward if they're any chance. The way i see it, no games are won in the midfield, they're won on the strength of your back line and ability to defend the ball well, something Richmond can do better than Carlton at this stage.

Have to disagree with that. Notice how much West Coast's defence is bleeding this year? While our defence, which had the worst record in the competition last year, is not letting through anywhere near as much this season, despite being constantly affected by injury. Your midfield determines how much pressure your defence comes under. The main reason Essendon jumped Carlton last week was not the strength of their defence, rather their domination of the clearances. The first goal of the game came from a centre clearance hacked forward by Jobe Watson. Nothing the defence could do about that. Likewise the majority of the 1st quarter.
for so many years the tigers have dropped the important games... the must wins the we have to win these or we are screwed... i think the air has changed down at punt road... i believe for some reason that thier is something about this game and the tiges will get up... we have to win... keep our finals alive and also our 100 year celebration... we should win...

Looking forward to this game. The Tiges go in massive, red-hot favorites given the historical importance of the game to them, and Judd missing with injury. The Tiges have a huge experience advantage with their 5, 30-year-old and older set, all in their starting 22 yet again, and in career-best form - Brown, Simmonds, Richo, Johnson, Bowden. All a lot older than the Blues oldest - Stevens. It's question of the whether the Blues large raw top-shelf-talent advantage will be enough to overcome the much older, more experienced Richmond lineup. I think they can. The midfield battle will decide this one. If Fev gets good supply, he'll kick 10. Setanta will go on Richo. Setanta is one of the few players in the AFL with the height and athleticism to go with the Richmond veteran. Should be a close game. Blues by 40 points.

I think the buzz around Punt Road has been electric this week. We would have to rate our chances as fairly high but it's impossible to write off Carlton. It would be great to see Morton and Hughes back up last weeks performance and if we get all the other youngsters firing, it will be exciting to watch.

Go read some of the embarrassing comments by your own supporters. Some have already conceded they cant win without Judd in the side. I take it you dont subscribe to that point of view.
