I'm in Sydney, going to watch the Saints for my birthday with a new scarf and jumper on. If that isn't a recipe for a classically disappointing Saints loss then I don't know what is...

Got on to some poodle permed hairdresser from Keilor. That was the bar we met all the vfl supporters. It was basically nrl club songs versus afl club songs. We won easily. It had to shut at 6 on the dot to hose it out for the next day. My mate i with was told by security to shut up or be locked up in the brig for the night. He didn’t believe them so was locked up till 3am that morning. He learnt for the rest of the trip. As weird as it sounds bingo was a real daytime highlight for us. If number 14 was called out as an example we would yell out plugger. Stupid but when are pissed it was fun
Enjoy the day , I fully expect the guys will come out with the fire today.I'm in Sydney, going to watch the Saints for my birthday with a new scarf and jumper on. If that isn't a recipe for a classically disappointing Saints loss then I don't know what is...

Will we bring our big boy pants?
We are saints people with not much to cheaper for.If none of us have faith, how the hell can we expect the players to believe?
Until we start to encourage and believe, the players won’t. They thrive off our energy. Hope our away fans bring their best tonight. Then maybe, just maybe, so will our boys on field.

No the legally free water.15 bucks?
Never said I thought he was crap. Did say if he struggles it leaves a big hole in our fwd line as he doesn't offer much else his game is linear. Anyways totally over the debate, FYI I made my comments after his first knock from memory and I stand by them ofc.8 weeks ago Higgins had just been best on in the previous 2 games and was sitting top 10 in the coaches votes after back-to-back perfect games.
Not sure gloating that you thought he was crap 8 weeks ago is the badge of honour you think it is.
Taking it easy at the minute
Win and we will be 6th.I was going to travel up to go, but last Friday killed that.
Prediction: Sydney by 30 points, but Saints to give them a fright and then drop away. Saints 12th on the ladder at the end of the round and like the ASX trending downward.
Stone and Wood on tapFair enough and acceptable
Just don't go all pink gin on us
the thing is we know our boys aren't that good at having good mentals. It's silly for us to expect them to play through a hostile crowd we've seen them fail to do that time and time again. Therefore we need to fake our enthusiasm and belief to the point that every match the boys feel the crowd trying to lift them no matter what. No, I can’t cop that.
Players should be professional enough to have that belief without relying on us.
No question fans can lift a team at the game, but they should be believing they can win every game before they run on the field.
We've encouraged, and been probably the most resilient and loyal fans ever, but at the end of the day, the onus is, and should be, on the players to have self-belief, pride and to perform.
What's the name of the band?Marshall breaks down in the first qtr, Hickey dominates Battle/Sharman in the ruck.
Buddy runs amok and the Saints lose by 40 points and finish the round in 11th spot.
Press all over the mounting pressure on the Saints not to renew Ratten's contract.
Off to see a band tonight and pretty happy I'll miss the match.
