If we bring in DGB for Sic, it leaves a KPD pairing of DGB and Blanck. There is so little experience here that it's an accident waiting to happen. It may do their development more harm than good.

We need Frost to replace Sic. Better the accident you know than the accident you don't know.

On point. We won't sell the kids up the river.
You've also got Scrim and Weddle who aren't ready yet to take the big dogs without Sic there as cover.

They have King and Lukosious. Not easy.

I'm interested to see the boys in the gym on social media. What does our bye look like as far as players getting time off? Is it mandatory 4 days or is that wrong? Could just be a long weekend for the guys coming up here I suppose.

Seriously? Would have thought a better response is hopefully he turns his form around, comes out and dominates and provides some great leadership for our young team.

For sure, I agree. Got no issues if someone thinks he’s not up to it any more - it’s the ‘hoping’ that this is the case that bugs me.

Can't see it happening sadly, looks like he's 35 not 29 with the way he plays in 2023.

Was pretty interesting listening to Rodney Eade on the Rohan Connolly podcast. He said that with every team he ever coached, the first training session back after the bye was always the same: complete garbage! Reckons the post-bye slump is definitely real, and that there were always soft tissue injuries around then as well. Hope we can avoid all that!

Not confident with this game at all. Reckon we might struggle up north in the humidity. Like the Brisbane game if it was played down south I would tip us for sure.
Frost not DGB most likely to replace Sic if suspended and Ward (sub) for Bramble. Wingard and CJ need to find significant form playing at Box Hill before they get picked again. Developing nice depth so more gimme games for these guys!

Not that I recall. You'd be better off finding a pub in the centre of Gold Coast
and then catching the free shuttle bus from near Pacific Fair to Metricon Stadium.
