Out - King, Ross, Cordy

In - Battle, Clark and one of Campbell/Heath/Hayes/Keeler (and I'd tell them that just before Sandringhams game this afternoon)

Sub Byrnes
Doubt we bring in another ruck until Hayes is fit and firing.

As predicted Sharman did not have to go into the centre bounce once again.

I doubt Ross will decide all of a sudden Campbell is in his plans. Heath is still a fair way off and Keeler certainly won't play this year and more than likely next as well.

Out King - Cordy - Ross - Byrnes Sub

In Battle - Hill - Higgins - Clark

Hopefully Hayes has a couple of good games at Sandy
Is Hayes playing today ? Can't find the team anywhere.

This feels like a must win game. Need to take the momentum of our better play last night and get a good win. I know it's not technically the case but I think it will be hard to make finals if we lose.

If we win I could see us taking the momentum into the "easy" games and winning those well. If we lose I see us dropping at least one of those in which case we're as good as gone.

Must win next week.

And again we lost - and for pretty much the same reason we've lost on a number of occasions this year already - lack of a tall physical presence in the forward half to help counteract the intercept marking of the opposition.

You're right - the coaching is starting to look a bit stubborn.

Campbell rucks against Witts, Marshall roaming CHF and Caminiti stays deep.

Do all 3 of Battle - Hill and Higgins get up for next week

Battle has struggled getting over concussion in the past

I would like Sharman to get a full game I’m not sold on Byrnes just yet
Noticed ya not convinced on byrnes yet mow
What is it ?
I was 50 50 but about 70 30 now
was worried about disposal but seems to be better
If I can I get my lazy arse out of bed I might go watch the Sandy game
Detailed Jack Hayes watch thanks
OK we definitely do

Still young and finding his way but he has no hurt factor and not convinced with skills being AFL standard

Hayes watch will be from tv, my lazy arse is still in bed

Fire the spit up have a nice leg of lamb to cook

Yep Sharman must start in my eyes. One of our better kicks at goal, athletic with great hands, quick. Membrey replacement imo.

Bought a boneless leg this morn!
Said to mrs that's next weekend sorted

Hes covering the kms and taking it on so hopefully the deficiencies u see can be worked on

Team choice will be interesting this week with the injuries

I don't think having Campbell would have made one ounce of difference. There's a reason he's in his thirties and has 50 games to his name. He's a genuine back up ruck.

We lost 3 players in the first qtr and had as many shots at goal as a top 4 side.

Take Marshall out of the ruck, Campbell may get a couple of extra taps but we also wouldn't have Marshall with 30 touches, 18 contested, 8 clearances.

Marshall is an average forward.

We could actually end up with the best squad we've had available all year if Hill and Higgins get up.

King really the only obvious best 22 player missing, Hayes and Membrey there abouts if they were fit but we haven't had them all year really.

I'm feeling more confident in the way we are tracking after this week's game, especially with Steele finding form. This week could well decide our fate. Win and we should be able to get on a decent roll with the draw what a in front of us.

Higgins? Hill?
One or both should be back.

Decided to watch Sandy today just to watch Hayes and Clark Both were obviously on limited minutes.

But bloody hell, Sandy is a hard watch. Despite my best intentions I had to switch it off. Great effort for f'all reward. Some of the skills (lack of) were almost laughable.

A question for the diehards who have bravely watched much more of Sandy than me this year -

If we have to blood a tall to play forward who would you throw a couple of games to out of Keeler and Heath?

Obviously, Hayes would be first cab off the rank once he gets match fit but who would you go for out of the other two. I'm guessing Heath?

I don't really follow any junior footy, but upon looking it up, it seems that Stocker was rated as one of the best mids in his draft class.

Would love to see him get a run through the middle. He is quick and a real solid unit.

Sinclair, Steele, Crouch, Jones, Stocker and Owens on occasion. That actually has a bit of variety about it.
