Im hearing rain - will this help us?

We're going to get a pretty big downpour overnight by the looks of the rader and then scattered showers for the rest of the day.

Gabba drains pretty well so I am not expecting a mudbath but conditions will be pretty greasy I would have thought.

Hold your breath at every centre bounce... the Gabba pitch turns into a cake of soap after a moderate soaking. Ruckman's nightmare.

Our man has put the mozz on us again. :thumbsu: :D

It's showtime for Fevola ROBERT WALLS

It's never easy with Fev. Most have a love-hate relationship with him. I marvelled at his speed on the lead, the strong, sure hands, the long and penetrating kicks, and the man's ability to improvise to advantage in situations the average footballer couldn't think through. But I was disgusted by his selfishness and sulkiness on the field - and his stupidity off it.

The man could turn a game with a freakish 10-minute burst of brilliance, and then demoralise his teammates with his unwillingness to try. I'm glad he has left Visy Park, but do hope he can resurrect his reputation with three or four solid seasons of incident-free, purposeful, team footy up north.

Since Bower went up with the team, we must have been giving him every chance to take to the field. Surely this would mean it is not the 4-6 weeks that has been suggested.

Otherwise, what the hell are we doing flying him up if we know he won't play? Mind games such as that just reeks of desperation. Really don't see what there is to gain - hoping this indicates just a short break on the sidelines.
