We never ever make wholesale changes after a win under any circumstances. Agreed there's no way Walters, Henry and Banfield can survive in the same side.

Aish, Colyer and Walker deserve to be in that line up ahead of a few others.

If Tabs is in throw Treacy in the WAFL for an extra week, felt a little underdone without doing anything overly wrong. Out Banfield and Meek for Fyfe and Darcy

Honestly that win was more like a loss than a win. Three-four changes are acceptable after a loss

You're right but if ever there was a time to do it, and for JL to stamp some authority regarding standards, its after that game where we were absolutely killed after inviting the opposition in.

The Saints are the sort of team (and club) that will come out fired up after their pathetic performance in Rd 1, but if they get it thrown back at them, will wilt. We need to be aware of that and bring the heat early.

Willing to give a few guys a bit more time. We know what Walters used to be able to offer and I’d give him more than one week to show he’s back. Henry and Frederick certainly weren’t great today either but I’m certainly willing to give two talented players more time. Tucker was never going to be at his best today with no match practice in the pre season.

In terms of today’s performance I’m not sure some of my below changes are fair but on team balance I think it’s necessary:

Out: Brodie In: Fyfe
Brodie played well today but i thought we were a bit slow today. Not sure Fyfe, Mundy and Brodie all belong in the same midfield. Who’s missing from the three is obvious.

Out: Meek In: Darcy
Again not fair on the player being dropped but Darcy>Meek all day.

Out: Banfield In: ???
This spot goes to Taberner if fit. Balance of the team wise we probably need a taller medium forward if Taberner isn’t playing. Sturt and Erasmus are options. Otherwise we accept we’re a touch short and just play Colyer who’s a far superior footballer.
