I feel very uneasy about these changes...Meek/Darcy/Lobb with potential wet weather footy is too tall/slow. Even without the weather I don't like it.

I guess Covid is always going to throw these spanners in the works, it could worse yet

Agree. Even a perfectly sunny day I would never play the three together. If we are playing an underdone Darcy it makes it even more worrying. Means Darcy and Meek would both offer little to nothing around the ground. Last thing we should be doing is rushing Darcy back too early.

Bring on 5pm for the final teams to be announced.

Someone mentioned this a while ago in another thread but we're obsessed at the beginning of the season with the idea that players are underdone after being out for a couple of weeks with injury. If this was round 10 and Darcy was being named fit for the first time we wouldn't be suggesting he has a run at Peel to get his minutes up. He'll be fine.

I agree with almost everyone else though that the named team sheet is very unnerving. Hopefully this is just more shenanigans from the club.

I want Hamling, Darcy and NoD in for Mundy, Cox and Meek.

Would have changed as people placed more bets on Saints when Mundy and Cox were out.

When Mundy and Cox were named as outs we drifted to 1.80 slight favourites, not surprising that's drifted slightly further. Especially with the absolute shitshow happening at the Eagles and people getting on the Saints early thinking it might happen to us

No way Brodie is coming out with no Fyfe/Mundy.

Very underwhelmed by the selections this week. It is becoming more obvious with each passing game that JLo is a great believer in role-players a la Ross Lyon. To leave Chapman and Brodie out would be a mistake IMPO.

A handful of players had average games last week. Treacy, Henry and Ryan have been named on the extended interchange - a clear message.

If we have true depth this year then poor showings should not be tolerated.

I know but he was already named in the 26. So you have Aish, Walker, Henry and Meek out.

I personally want to get games into Walker because I think his attributes can translate to the midfield.
