Stewart, Daniher (Sharp) tonight.

I started and held him last year also.
Doesn't mean that people should do the same thing this year.

Of course it doesn't. The point being your season isn't cooked if all of your premo's aren't firing on all cylinders all of the time.

Couldve had 50k if you'd flicked him earlier.

You could look at it that way, but you'd be wrong. I completed my team early because I didn't sideways trade my premo's or mid-pricers until i upgraded all my on-field rookies first. Had i sideways traded out every under-performing premo (I'm looking at you Cogs) or mid-pricers (Wingard & Dev) I would have ran out of trades and been fielding rookies like Draper and Riccardi in the final 2 rounds like plenty of other teams were and wouldn't have finished as strongly.

No need to sideways every one. But SC is littered with grand champs who took risks like that.

Has anyone won it after doing a Roughie or two?

Asking for a freind.

Definitely true.

I was actually looking back through my round 1 rankings for the last few years.
I had a feeling that I never really started overly well, 11k this season is my 3rd best start over the last 8 years.
My worst start was 64k, also turned out to be my best season, they are long seasons.
I wouldn't worry about rank until around round 6, and then aim for improving throughout the bye from then on.

That said, I would be in the trade Cripps camp.
Reckon he looks dogshit and doesn't have the skillset for the faster game this year.

I'm not aware of many (or any for that matter) grand champs who sideways traded uninjured premo's after the first 2 rounds. The smart money is on rookie corrections in Rd3.

I'm off my head right now. Have the fellow brethren Judd_Magic and Here2tellyouwhy already passed out?

Must admit I have this week off although it probably wouldn't make a difference the way my team is tracking :$

I went on a huge bender with a mate for a couple of days which explains my absence. Was here in spirit though. :moustache:

When I won Real Dream Team, I traded like a trooper. 12 trades used by round 8.

I had one trade left for injuries for the last five rounds and finished with Jasper Pittard still in my backline.

You mean like trading Tom Rockliff in and out of my team three times in my winning season.

Then your answer is yes.

Just did a quick google search, the 2016 champ sidewaysed 2 premos by round 3.

I am the 2016 RDT Champ, so we are kindred spirits.

Although he is richer.
