Yes he didn't have a great game last week, but the exposure to play the top side at the G in front of 70k is invaluable.

Kosi selection seems like one of those odd calls that shows we are clearly not trying to win the game. The pies will score so quickly coming out of their backline with Ryan, Lewis and Kosi trying to chase. Esp with Brocky out.

Still also a bigger defender short to allow Sicily to play his game. Serong would’ve been a good in.

He's been pretty lazy at afl level this year, not chasing, walking to position when even a job would create a contest - he's literally doing what many criticise meek and reeves for, all while having no impact in the ruck

He's dropped marks and missed easy shots at goal. His level of effort has been good, Sam has made that pretty clear.

Going with Kosi as forward/ruck. I have to say selection is becoming more surprising by the week. That forward line is slow as treacle. We're lacking speed all over the ground, in fact. Had to bring in BMac or Butler with Bramble and Brockman going out. Now we're lacking B's as well.

I actually don't mind us trying the combination of Lewis, Ryan and Koschitzke. There's a valid argument that it makes us too slow but it also adds an element of contested marking we haven't had in a lot of the lineups we've tried. Would like them surrounded by a quicker fleet of smalls though.

Reeves has one skill but that skill allows our midfielders to get so much more of the footy. Think we have to play him plus two rucks don’t work

Don't see how we reach 40 points on Saturday or stopping them posting 120+.

Selection has a bit of damage control about it. Picking more experienced bodies to play against the best side in the comp. I can understand that. Not super exciting but getting belted by 80 points isn’t exciting

I really thought we wouldn’t see Morrison and Kosi again, so Morrison getting a game ahead of Long and Stephens, means we can safely say there papers have been stamped

I would be miffed if I was Stephens, we actually traded him in and players like Morrison and Bramble get a game ahead of him

Morrison in for Bramble, surely BMac could of play that role, it would of at least injected some pace into the team

Yeh I think that’s what they’ve done. I’d prefer to play our best/most likely side moving forward to really test ourselves against the best side in the comp.

No imagination at the selection table, just bring in players that have already been dropped 2-3 times this year, and there is no reward for the players who have been consistently good over the last few weeks for BH, don’t get a look in
