We looked better for having the bigger Frampton at full back. I’d still like to see Moore, Frampton and Murphy as our three tall defenders.

Frampton is best Down Back.

Been Pretty Useless up Forward

Agree with all of this.

After the Carlton and hawthorn games I thought I’d know more about whether we’re over the slump after the Geelong game, but oddly I still feel like I’m not sure.

I think that first quarter has given me PTSD! It was going to be all over, another wasted year that could’ve been anything!

2nd and 3rd Quarters we were excellent in hindsight, and I sort of knew it at the time, but the die had been cast and I couldn’t get that first Q out of my head.

Then the last quarter roller coaster, up by 22, up by 9, up by 4+ goals, then finishing up by 8.

On the one hand Geelong are a very good team, so we must have done well to overrun a large deficit, but then the general play was atrocious in Q1, then we gave up the last 3, but played 1.5 to 2 good quarters in between. Cameron kicked a bag and we lost Moore, while Noble, JDG and a few others will be sore.

Are we back? I still can’t tell. Guess I’ll know more after the Brisbane game…
I think you have to realise that there’s no dominant team. People keep talking up Melb, they were 6 goals down against north last week and only won it in the last…. No team is playing 4 quarters, it’s a myth

Dees will be revealing their new key forward this weekend…. Stay tuned 😂😂😂

Didn’t see the Scott sook will definitely check it out now thanks guys 👍.
Not surprised though and why is he looking like a bloody art dealer from Brighton these days.
Funny enough I seen Scott at an art exhibition a few years back

Ah... Now I understand Scotts confusion. He meant it was inside the fence. If that picture alone is not a sad indictment on the poor quality (selective umpiring) of umpiring when all 4 have clear view I don't know what is. 4 umpires were supposed to stop such howlers not to cause them
Amazing that an umpire 50m away often feels the need to overrule the controlling umpire to pay the softest of soft frees, but 4 umpires all in perfect position all ignore the most blatant out of bounds infringement in the history of the game.

And that’s not even an exaggeration. I defy anyone to name another incident where a player handballed to someone 2m outside the boundary and it was called play on.

I have a lot of Geelong mates who also despise Scott - the greasy wannabe roockstar was gifted a strong team and lives off the go home factor - never truely test so through his coaching life and a total ****ENN fraud of the AFL

His post match conference was one of the most unprofessional comical display of media Ive seen for a long time. Thats what their fabric of team is built on.

I dont think I could be any clearer but happy for others to add to this?

Yep this is true.

“Our best is still very good” is something I can take from last night. But when not at our best we’ve been scored against a bit too much still which I don’t think was happening earlier in the year.

Our defence somehow looked more organized when Moore went off. But that also coincided with better pressure on the ball carrier.

I’m still flummoxed.

Epic game, the boys really stood up with Darcy going down. Markov did some amazing things initially to help turn the tide. WHE was effective, then once we clicked into gear it was show time.

Lipinski I thought had some poor efforts, but worked his way back into some form. Very impressed with how Degoey persevered.

I have been saying for every we should preemptively rest players, and especially now we have too 2 guaranteed!!!

McStay is a monster up forward, definitely straightens us up!

Ginis IQ is through the roof, his effort back with the flight was awesome.

Speaking of IQ, will be pretty poor if he doesn’t get AA this year.

Hill was as influential as I’ve seen, although those that follow the stat line probably won’t agree.

Pendles is clearly slowing down, gets caught in transition and defending too often these days. Still as impactful as ever ball in hand.

Bang on all of that.

Givv was great almost gave us a little spark.

I simply couldn't believe what I was seeing. After he took that first out of bounds mark, I'm surprised a supporter didn't jump the fence when the 2nd one was allowed.

Well after missing the Hawks match it was nice to see us back to our best pressure wise. The way the team has adapted over a long season so far is just really admirable. Thought that was a real finals performance and scarily we can still get better. Nice when we are already top of the table.
