Bombers fans:

Some scamper into the depths of the dark web after their big footy thread disintegrates like the dissolve transition effect on Microsoft PowerPoint. The rest will go into their shells, hollow like the integrity of their club. Those who were kind shall be spared, but their lives never the same.

Saints fans:

The Round 3 Saints V Bomber preview thread will be immortalised as a reminder to any who challenge us. Saints fans have nothing to lose and we have heard it all, we become unstoppable. The fans amp up the players who in turn amp up the fans, suddenly the cyclical nature spirals upwards and we become a powerhouse, in not just this realm but in many. All is well.
This post deserves more appreciation.

Side looks pretty balanced actually.
I thought JWeb might have been slowing down a bit last year but he looks right on his game at the moment and really happy to see him back in.
Ronny might want to pick it up a little if he wants to hold his spot. Thought Pato was a bit stiff coming out.
Never write off the Tassie folk. We may give them grief, but really, it's one of the best places in Australia. Honest, hard working, salt of the earth types...also as tough as they come.
I knew Jimmy would be a Ross Lyon fave. Despite his past injuries, he is an extremely reliable & dependable player, week in & injury hit week out.

My Irish wife has been a Saints fan for twenty years. Gherig & Milne are her two favourite players ever. I remember my first game. It was a practice match in 1987...we got there because my mum was shagging some bloke from one of the coteries or something like that. Winmar was playing...possibly the first time in the colours. He was pinging 50 metre passes dead onto Lockets chest. I had never understood the game or cared about it until that moment. I was 10.
I love the club, and I'll be here in Ireland with a cheeky brew at 9:30am, not just to salute the club...but also you dipshits that are just as stupid as me.
Big love to all of you.

Just out of interest who will be the legend inducted tonight. I’m going either Frawley ditterich loewe or hayes. Inductees will be dal and a few others.
I don’t know if I’m the only one.

But I hope it’s not Frawley tonight.

Last thing tonight needs is to be more emotionally charged.

I vote for Big Carl. Not getting any younger and was a wonderful player and servant to the club.
He was a very scary player for all opposition teams to contend with. What about Winmar ?

Some of the best pinot in the country. My aunt used to do wine tours around the greater Launceston area. Her main complaint is that the Tassie people are happy enough to be big in Tassie, because the Pinot is some of the best in the world...and deserves proper attention. I say keep it a secret.

I think he turns up regardless.

As broken as thst relationship seems.

Tonight is a celebration for everyone & there will still be a part of plugger that is St Kilda especially when he is surrounded by old mates.

If we win…. It won’t just be the players going out for a drink. That 90s group will catch up and share a fair few too.

As much as Lenny should be elevated, it might be a bit of a distraction having the midfield coach away doing that a few hours before the game. Would prefer if it wasn't him tonight.

Also, Im guessing Riewoldt won't be inducted tonight like he should be since he is in Texas.

Yeah...I completely get your point...but still, if we're going full St.Kilda, then we should charge the emotion to the max. We don't play finals much, and have next to never won premierships...but we have plenty of game greats. Spud was as tough as they come. I'm up for shedding a tear. Take the moment... it's ours.

Haven't been this excited for a very long time.

I think I'll tune into Channel 7 for the pre-game stuff, fire up Kayo for the first half, back to Channel 7 for half time and then back to Kayo for the rest of the match. I presume Channel 7 will have the better broadcast in relation to our 150th celebration.

The beers are chilling in the fridge as we speak, and I made the executive decision that pizza is getting delivered for dinner.

Feels good to know we are getting ready to fire in the first nail into the injectors 2023 season coffin.
