Sorry for the intrusion but when rolling you guys look great. Third quarter was super. Daicos will be a star and Reef showed plenty to get excited about. Sidebottom going off was perhaps the difference in the end.

Ratagoulea going off is what changed the game imo.

At this stage he lacks a physical element to his game and he is only mediocre-paced… so there are things he can work on like many of our boys.

Like all young kids, they have a couple of good games and think the game is easy and let it get to their heads.

I had written Sidebum off towards the end of last year but I have to agree, he came off and it was telling.

I thought we were a couple of KPP players short both forward and back (Geelong have the mercenary Cameron) and Hawkins up front and we had no one to match up with them.


Plus our missed shots on goal, the advantage taken by Adams was the worst.

I thought Howe spent a lot of time on Cameron. Madgen was there too. My question is why Moore wasn't used against him. Moore's our best defender, so why was he not switched?
I can't remember a centre clearance in the last and subsequently, our back six were under enormous pressure. We needed to slow it down after the first two goals, but we just couldn't get our hands on it. Still, the projection is good.

Give Maynard some leeway I reckon. Essentially the Round 1 rust that a lot of our players displayed against the Saints. I'll back him in to play better against WCE.

I am firmly of the opinion that if Collingwood had a gun KEY FORWARD - either full-forward or centrehalf-foward - that the team would have see beaten Geelong. The club needs to be extremely aggressive & creative to get the best young key forward from the 2022 AFL National Draft. Alternatively, we need to come up with a mix of trade picks and/or players to recruit an existing key forward from another club. I mean if the club had a players or players on their list such as Harry McKay

I'm sorry but I don't think a 44 point turn around in a 4th quarter (when a team is up by 30) has happened in the AFL for a very long time, an overreaction is a little warranted here.
