The marks should fix themself. The lack of tackles and possessions is a bit concerning. I think my other trades this week are safer bets, but I hope he turns it around quickly, because it's probably now or never as far as trading him goes. Next week at a stretch, but then you'd really be relying on Preuss or some such to make big money for it to be worth it.
Not that it will stop me from considering Gawn > Preuss and Gibcus > Hall / Ward > Heeney next week :moustache:

Heard big Preuss was dominant in the VFL.

OK...got my two trades lined up...probably.
Whitfield to Hewitt.
Berry to Rowell.

Thinking now, why not use the boost...no-one seems to be mentioning,
MAYBE Ward to Davies...just $20K more...-38 BE, locked in Gold Coast team...only 66 on weekend (but against Melbourne)...90 in the first week.

get some more of lovely cash generation...
Literally every trade suggestion in this thread suggests using the boost. Everyone listing 3 trades.

I just realised I can afford:

Gawn -> Xerri
Berry -> Cripps
Mead -> Hewitt

Gives me $900 change and opens up my def/fwd link.

It seems to be the sensible risky option.
English or Hayes into the ruck?

I reckon X had his highest score for the year last week mate.
He wont cover Gawn very well if that is your plan.
120 was against the softest rucks the AFL has seen since Gumbelton.

Mcgovern > Xerri
Whitfield > Bowey at d4
Ward > Cripps

or:

Gov > Xerri
Whitfield > Hewett
Hough to Caldwell

First one I get the big Crippa before he shoots up in price but miss out on Hewett for a way more risky option in Bowey, and also lose Ward who will probably make good money.

Second one feels a lot safer/should make a lot of cash but I miss out on Cripps.

What do you guys reckon? I really want Cripps but not sure if I'm trying too hard to get him in

Going to loop Richards and if he goes 90+ ill keep Uwland and get Richards' score. In all likelihood, Richards wont crack 90+ and in that case i trade Uwland up to Bowey. I figure this way gives me the most information before i use my trade boost which ideally id keep in hand.

Agree with Gawn but Xerri should go 90 vs Gawn 120
Berry 90 vs Cripps 110
Mead 50 vs Hewitt 100
Should be at least 50-60 points per round better off

Interesting % ownership numbers by the Hall Of Fame Teams (regular top finishing teams)
Cripps ...Hewett ....and Gawn, only 64% of HOF Teams

I think both are about as sensible as each other. Cripps and Bowey should make roughly the same amount of cash as Hewett and Caldwell this year IMO. Caldwell and Cripps both have a similar level of concerns surrounding the ability of their bodies to hold up.

So back your gut. Who do you think will score better?

I meant...no-one is mentioning Davies from Gold Coast...good JS...scoring OK, better potential than Ward.
I agree with this, problem is he's one of about 8 high priced rookies so it's hard to afford them all. And he has the lowest ownership, so presents the biggest risk if he doesn't work.

I started with both, but out of interest, would folks here prioritise getting Cripps or Rowell this week? Imagine that would be a difficult question for those that have neither.
