Wait for Sunday teams to be finalised, but yeah it is an option if he is dropped or sideways Ellis to a premo and down Byrne to Murphy if you can use both trades

I did have M Crouch to Danger locked in. I could wait a week on that though.

Libba -> Mitchell
Hibberd -> Bonner

~$150k left over, which will hopefully go towards Brayshaw to Danger in a couple of weeks.

I had Byrne to L Murphy locked in. Now that he's out I see Brandon Ellis on the extended bench, and with his poor form is it worth going Ellis > Murphy instead and bank the cash?

Byrne got to go hes injured plus hes playing tonight.

Nope, I am in the same boat and he hasn't looked like it in the first 2 rounds... trade him now to someone in form.

Changed my trade to ZGL -> Ryan. That means for the time being CEllis remains in my side as a handy loophole. I can swing him between B/C too with Finlayson & Coffield. Classic case of a player being more useful when they aren't playing.

Depends on who would be covering in Defence or Midfield... as you said neither will change price this week.

Not crazy at all to move him on before he bleeds cash. His form is terrible. I've actually put him on my watchlist for now. If he does turn it around over the next few weeks will be at a great price to bring in. But on current form wouldn't go near him.

I have him and have been planning on trading him all week until yesterday.
But he has his 150th this weekend and after having a quiet last couple of weeks i think he is primed for a big one vs Port (and Rocky).
Think i will keep the faith

Happy enough to keep Sicily and Greene on the bench, I've got enough cover for them right now.

To All Dangerless peeps: What's the thinking on when to bring him in?

If I plan to bring him in round 5/6 in line with downgrading to this next batch of rookies ie. Higgins/Coffield, then will bring in Taranto/Fisher this week.
If I wait until later then can bring in fwd premo like McLean this week.

Already have Dusty,Titch, Fyfe, kelly, Cripps and holman/kelly so at this stage no great rush, except it feels naked without Danger.

Well I have finally found my way back again for the first time of the new season. Hope all the regulars and campaigners on here are able to give me some much needed advice because my side needs it urgently.

Right so at the moment have Crouch (Inj) , Beams , Byrne (Inj) , Rioli, Sicily (Susp) and Giles-Langdon (Inj) all causing me huge headaches... Also carrying Armitage but not disastrous for the $$$ outlay.

Looking to move Beams definitely and either Byrne or Giles-Langdon out but what to replace with is the headache.

Current side is:

R. Laird, S. Savage, H. Shaw, C. Byrne, S. Murray, T. Doedee (A. Naughton, L. Murphy)

T. Mitchell, M. Crouch, N. Fyfe, D. Beams, P. Cripps, D. Armitage, J. Finlayson, T. Kelly (A. Brayshaw, B. Banfield, N. Holman)

L. Franklin, D. Smith, C. Petracca, J. Sicily, C. Rioli, B. Fritsch (J. Garlett, Z. Giles-Langdon)

There are three options

Grab the two remaining rookies that are popular (Barry & Ryan) with an eye to grab Danger & Martin next week! Are either of these guys must haves?

Grab one rookie and a Premo or an inform Mid Pricer this week (Simpson, Martin, Coniglio, etc) but less funds for future upgrades)

Grab two Premos (Coniglio & Gray for example) but burn virtually all salary in doing so?

Anyone got any advice for my situation? Reckon I am about 4 weeks away from going full Judd-Magic and trading my a*** off to put myself out of my suffering and misery.

I'm bringing him in ASAP. But ASAP might be a while. I'll have $150k after this weekend. I figure Danger will be $700k, and I will hopefully trade a $300k Brayshaw out. So I think I will do a shitty downgrade to get $100k in the next week or so, then a down/up to get danger.

Will take some trades but will keep the cash generating and would make Kelly my m8.

Yes really poor choice. Was sorta putting too much thought into it and thought JOM may steal some possies from him and he may start slowly.
Anyway gonna stick fat with JOM and Cyril for 1 more week and I've gone L.Fog to Holman and Naughton to Murphy.
