You blokes are a bunch of wet wipes.

Just read the final 13 pages of the game thread and you are all carrying on like sooks.

We had control of that game with about 5 minutes left in the first.

Only reason that wasn’t a comfortable win was goal kicking and Bolton (what a player he is).

For the love of god can we stop playing on grounds suited for under 12s. (Credit to the groundskeeper, unreal job on the grass)
Most of us are on the grass over here 🥰

We were really poor in the first quarter.
Dominated the next two quarters.
Broke even in the last and won the game.

What do you some people expect?

The other team is allowed to crack in and make it a contest.

Wins don't happen by imagining them.
This is what supporters miss. That the opposition aren't witches hats and are trying to win.
Interesting Lyon praising Stocker who was put on Bolton and quelled him somewhat in the second.
Richmond had 6 marks inside 50 in the first and then only four for the rest of the match
We slaughtered our set shots in the first, then stopped Richmond scoring for the rest of the game.
Was a scrappy game but was a win we needed.

Tough watch, first half was as bad a half of football I have seen.

Forward line isn’t functioning at all. I have said it before, too many mid sized types. I think we stick with Caminiti until Hayes bangs the door down. The games will be invaluable to his development. Max as the only genuine tall option has always struggled. Membrey’s hands are average at the moment.

Our balance of outside to inside players is skewed a little too far to the outside for me.

Tall defender and small forward should be on the shopping list at years end.

Young Darcy Wilson, give you those one on three contests and run down HTB, deep into the 4th qtr because he would have one of the biggest tanks in the league.

His impact on the game aerobic wise, will mirror Banger in his day.

His performance was the best part of the game. Some players had better 2nd halves but that doesn't make up for how toilet we were in the 1st half.

I didn't say read me the stats, which particular part of his game did you see with your eyes that WoWed you.
I liked his ability to get up and down the ground. He had a couple of excellent inside 50s that hit players up.

For someone who hasn't played much of a wing role, I felt he was very good.

I'm not sure what you want from him, you seem to love slaughtering him though.

It's crazy

OK, I kinda want to consider that we're adults and can handle things but clearly I am wrong.

Cease with the personal attacks or I'm going to be thread banning people who instigate such things. Be respectful of each other.

He played well against us last year. I would have him in ahead of Jones at the very least.
Unable to judge a player who is not playing , but we got him because we thought he will help us get better - and judging him how he played at the Blues is not a true guide of how good the guy can be.
All we know is he finds the ball and that will help us because a lot of our guys go missing for large portions of the game.

Fully expect him to be better than the developing kids (19yr olds)in Wilson or Phillipou atm.

Great premiership qtr with 6 goals. Richmond were blown, we kicked the first in the last qtr then put the game to sleep.

Will be interesting to watch the replay ti see how they stopped Richmond scoring for three qtrs.

Bonner better
NAS surgeon
Owens - if this kids a forward then he needs to go back and get his forward craft up to speed. Don’t think he is though. Should have been training with the mids from the get go.
Cordy was ok - solid
Wilkie welcome back legend
Steele supreme- in the first half when we were sh#t he was our beacon
Stock was good - solid
Sharman - not convinced. If he’s our utility he needs to be better overall. Got knocked off the contest too easily.
Pou- just ok. Needs to be cleaner and quicker with his disposal in right.
Ross was very good. Nothing flashy just did the right things at the right time and stepped up when the game was on the line.
Ro got better as the game went on but was getting a lesson from Nank.
Wilson did well under pressure
Ronnie - skills were poor and he was fumbly early. Would like to see him back at Sandy when we start getting players back
Caminiti - a work in progress. Liked that he was used to support Ro.
Jonesy was ok and got better as the game went on.
Sincs still is just building. Going back to HB was the coaching move of the game.
Hilly was good, glad he was able to come back on. Cannot afford another leader out injured.

Overall a great reply in the second half. Something to build on.

His goal and momentum stopping run down tackle was pretty important too. One of the few players that know how to kick it to get forwards to lead

You missed Battle! Good post tho :)

He's a better inside ball winner than Jack Steele?
But got delisted.
If you read carefully I said “most.”
Stocker got delisted too, and look at what he does for us.
Carlton have a very strong midfield, but when he had the chance last year he played very well for them.
He’s what we lack. Also adds to the mid rotations.
I wouldn’t be turning up your nose at him just yet. Might bite you in the bum.
The Saints obviously see something in him otherwise wouldn’t have got him.

That was a tough watch. Steele pretty bloody good, StKilda defenders right hand was next best.
T
Scrappy game but Richmond brought the pressure that we weren’t prepared for, and we started the same as we did vs Essendon.

Glad we won but we need to be much better than that if we want to see improvement this year

The Blues only played Dow in his correct position towards the end of last year. In the last 6 games he averaged 6+ clearances per game.

Will fit in nicely.

Max King is our Marquree player, our supposed number one weapon, he needed to be 60 + or more goals in 2024 to get close to living up to that potential, he starts R5 with me asking when is he going to WoW me.

How the hell can anyone hope to perform under that pressure?
