Phillips > Ridley
Will wait on teams, but either Bruhn or Kosi > Chapman

Will purely look at rookie corrections over the next few weeks - Waterman one option if he goes 80+ again
Generally settled, but wish I started with Impy - looks good enough to be an F6 keeper for the year

Is it too late for Stefan Giro?

Highmore should play this week, eagles have a tall forward line so need the third tall.
Kosi will get more games this year if not this week should drop Ceglar before him.
Brockman they wont drop for a game in his home state I believe, plus he looked alright in the last quarter when he basically got all of his score. 5 goals in 3 games probably means he keeps his spot.

Just my opinion.

Gday Community,

Last minute trades of H Jones-Tex and Phillips-Impey improved my points and cash generation and saw me jump over 5000 places to around 2500 which can be directly attributed to some very solid advice from the people on this board. This is where I stand right now:

This week I expect Highmore to return and Kozi to be dropped or Sub which might enable me to loop Highmore/J Clark. Wait and see.

I will also loophole Campbell/Scott via Sharp or Macrae Junior.

While the Phillips-Impey trade was intended to free up cash to upgrade both of H Clark/Duggan to Ridley/Laird, I don't have enough to get the deals done.

There isn't a single defender I like below that price and firmly believe that after bringing in Ridley I will need to fill my remaining spots with two of Mills, Lloyd or Laird. I also like Docherty and can afford both of him and Laird - but still feels a little sideways. Laird has the best DPP in Supercoach IMHO and has North Melbourne this week.

Which poses the question - who do I move on first out of Hunter Clark and Duggan - or move on both - or move on neither?

Im inclined to say neither, hold my trades and see if either improves sufficiently to eventually hold down D6. Shuey and Gresham out helps both players however if i am being honest neither are keepers and I paid the price for playing mid pricer madness.

Your team looks pretty solid. I've traded Kosi to Chapman this week for better cash gen and I don't see Kosi lasting long term.

Keep Hunter and Duggan for now and hold the cash to upgrade a rookie to SP quicker.

J.Clark first to be upgraded in the backline IMO.

Thanks for the input mate. I also like the look of Chris Burgess who appears to be #1 ruck at GC now. Outstanding JS and scoring potential.

Dow > Chapman via DPP magic
Wines > Walsh

54k itb

No more trades for a few weeks and let the current rookies moo (unless I'm forced to get either waterman/robertson on the bubble next week)

Wines to Walsh is crazy imho

Better off saving the trade or altering Clark

Needs to average 70 until the byes to make 150k.

Has he played ruck before, or is he literally just the last man standing?

Plays against: Pittonet, Stef, Hickey, Grundy, Ryder in the next 5 with Zac Smith reportedly 3-4 weeks away.

Risky, but could pay off.

Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge the very real possibility a much loved cult hero once again gracing our teams?

The fact Baby John hasn't been relevant to SC since his heroics in 2019 is a tragedy.

It is nothing other than the fate of the gods which has thrown him up as a ruck (haha) able to be selected in DEF, despite being a FWD.

I'd give half my chol to be able to cheer him on as one of my players again in a couple weeks if it comes to fruition.

Better off playing 4 midfielders then sending Burgess into the shadow realm.

I was bringing in Chapman, for Dow.

Might have to go Dow to Baby John now. Should score pretty well playing as Ruck.

He is 191cm. If he plays ruck he's going to get destroyed lol
