Mate it’s a return of the old guard

Texan 140
Boak 128
Sloane 119
King hurn 115
Selwood 109
Pendles 106
Mundy 101

All looking good so far
Selwood and Sloane looked like KFC.
Yet here we are.

Not sure whether I burn a trade to go JDG > Impey.
Would pocket me $130k.
Not sure if I’m being too quick to jump off JDG, I sort of expected this but it’s just annoying the low scores are happening now.
He averaged 88 in 2018, 87 in 2019.
Elliott out means he’ll be a full time forward.

It’ll be a roller coaster owning him and I know he’ll have big games but Impey looks all class at the minute playing HBF where all the scoring is. Thoughts?

As it stands have 27 trades, $70k. Wanting to hold fire on trades as much as possible whilst everyone else else chews through there’s. Nobody else worth culling yet and have all the right rookies.

He has to go. He is one of the laziest footballers I've ever watched when things aren't going his way.

Horrible pick by me. I can't stand watching him (no offense)

Bruhn > Chapman via Sharp DPP at this point.

Need to shore up the defensive line with all of Sharp/Highmore/Kosi potentially out this coming week and have an incredibly slim bank to the point of Kosi > Chapman not even being a viable trade. Bruhn already sits at a BE of 18 and despite being fairly likely to get a run next week, is probably the only way I have to patch up the back end without burning two trades.

Next week is likely Parks and Waterman in for either dead or maxed rookies. Could go early on Waterman for Bergman to allow Kosi for Chapman if people think the GWS injuries are likely to ramp up Bruhns SP?

I reckon Waterman and Holmes more important that Chapman
Holmes JS a worry, Geelong have a few too come back soon.

Every campaigner and his dog will trade in Aquaman.

I'm 50/50 on Chapman. He looked good after houng went off and we might not get many defensive rookies.

He will play consistently, played much better than Cox and Hughes. Not sure how long Houng is out for, but they already are missing Pearce, Hamling and Logue for an extended period, so he will stay in the side and hopefully make decent $

Hopefully everyone trades them in. There is no way they will pick up niggles or run out of steam :moustache:

Hey lads. Just after some opinions.

Going early on Waterman for Rowe
Upgrading kosi to CJ.

Giving me a back 6 of Lloyd Laird Daniel Stewart aliir and CJ.

Bit early and in some ways too sideways.

Just wanting some opinions. After all, y'all the best for it.

77k and 29 trades

Is it too late for Impey or Jiath?

Could do Phillips to Impey and Kosi to Chapman (assuming Kosi dropped). Or Phillips to Jiath via DPP.

Otherwise it is probably sit on trades for this week?
Wowee a 3 mid premo team, unheard of

Think there's only one realistic trade option here:

Tell me if I'm a dummy.
Nah don't go Meek, you're not getting max value on your trades picking him at an inflated price, go Comben or S Neale to loophole with

Save the extra 55-60k for your next downgrade/upgrade as you will be down to 24 trades.

Other than that, Young to Ridley is a great move.

Is impey a must have?
a bit of a stretch to say must have.
I'm only 2 trades down (Danger & a rookie correction) although I regret trading Danger to Oliver now since I wasn't expecting Oliver to attract a tag with Tracc in the team and using up all cash reserves for that trade was also not well thought out. Would have been better served doing Danger > Ridley & HJones > Impey in Rd2 but yeh, it seems so easy with the benefit hindsight.

I feel a bit boxed in with my GnR set-up at the moment with only $11k bank and a couple of rookies too many on-field but at the same time not keen on trading out any of my premium assets for 2 mid pricers, especially whilst there's a half decent Def rookie on the bubble (Chapman) available this week and all 3 of my Def rookies possibly not playing this week.

Thoughts on the best way forward this week?
well done on only using 2 trades. unlucky with the danger one. shouldve just held him imo. if i were you id just concentrate on not having any donuts and consider chapman.

With DPP I have been rolling Laird and Dunkley/Dusty through there but with lack of DEF options this week I pushed Laird back.
