Alright kunties discussing Babyface Burgess, I feel he is a great selection for cash gen with the terrible DEF rookies at the moment.

Burgo actually competed well in the last quarter, beat Frampton when he went into the ruck, and he will play for 5-6 weeks as the ruck and with Day out as well he will most likely stay in as a second forward once ZSmith is back. He had 8 hitouts all in the last quarter I believe, and his ability to run allows him to be a sort of 4th mid, can see him getting clearances etc.

Regarding Bowes, he will take all the kick ins, he actually had a fairly bad game on Friday and still scored 95, can see him even getting mid minutes at times this year as well as taking kick outs. Can see him going large this week if Blues are inaccurate like normal, 110+. He is in my side at D4 can see him defs being top 5-10 DEF at end of year

I benched Gulden in round 1 so there is a bulk of the 100 right there probably, we have similar teams it seems. I have Grundy at the expense of a mid.

There is not much I can do with it this week, just have to wait for Waterman I guess. Not keen to spend money to get Chapman in and Dow can wait a week to see how Dev Robertson goes.

Yeah after my trades this week looks like

Crisp, Short, Bont, Grundy, Atkins and 1 of your rookies in midfield (1 will be on my bench)

Vs

Daniel, Macrae, Titchell, Taranto, Flynn (rookie equivalent to your mids with 1 I'd bench) and Heeney

Yeah I turfed that Bruhn kid for A Fyfe to get Guldens points in round 1, glad I did, even traded Fyfe to Jordon last week, lol

Would be stuck with the pack if I didn't

Hi coaches,

First time playing this addictive game and looking for any advice. So far I've had to use 3 trades (Danger, Tyson, Rowell).

This week I need to get rid off Dow. Not sure who to bring in for him. Is getting rid of Neale a must, considering that he's already dropped so much? If so I was thinking of Mitchell/Steele as the safe but expensive choices, or Sloane/Brawshaw/McGrath/Gaff as riskier but cheaper choices. I also have 4 Rookies who DNP, I'm guessing that's a bad thing lol? is getting these rookies out a priority?

Thanks in advance for any help 👍

Need Warner up forward even though you’ve missed his first price jump.

Bruhn > Chapman via Sharp DPP at this point.

Need to shore up the defensive line with all of Sharp/Highmore/Kosi potentially out this coming week and have an incredibly slim bank to the point of Kosi > Chapman not even being a viable trade. Bruhn already sits at a BE of 18 and despite being fairly likely to get a run next week, is probably the only way I have to patch up the back end without burning two trades.

Next week is likely Parks and Waterman in for either dead or maxed rookies. Could go early on Waterman for Bergman to allow Kosi for Chapman if people think the GWS injuries are likely to ramp up Bruhns SP?

Im in the exact same situation, with lack of cash flow, and will be doing the same trade. Glad to know it’s not just me suffering from bankruptcy!

Bowes is definitely a seagull that got away.

Can't get both him and Ridscab in on the same week unfortunately.

for 490k with a projected 25k rise next week. I think we got a small window to do final corrective trades. I need a Sun's player so i can watch their games.

Bowes highlighted where SC is at this year.
Crows only kicked 2 behinds to HT and Bowes was on 19.
9 behinds in 2nd half and came alive ending in the 90s

Actually had 8 HO late. What I liked was his 2nd efforts where he tackled or got it himself.
We played him ruck in the practice match vs Lions and he held his own.
He’ll need 50+ by HT though.

I wouldn't mind getting baby face Burgess next week in one trade but I don't have the cash .
He's not worth spending 2 trades to bring in .

He's JS should be soild.

Bowes was trajectory was to hit average around low 90s from looking at his "natural" progression. Just the kick-in just gave him supercoach steroid points. So I don't think its a bad pick. I personally like what I saw on the weekend. I might rewatch some GC round 1 and 2 games and see.

I’ll prob wait the extra week too. Match fitness will get better
If you can afford Burgess the additional points from some of the lesser rooks is enticing. I’m thinking i might even go a week early. We’ll see.
